Ubi gives fans Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Fan Pack DLC

To award loyal Rainbow Six Vegas fanboys and to give the game's online multiplayer a nice little tuneup, Ubisoft recently announced they'll be releasing a FREE set of RSV2 'Fan Pack' downloadable content this July.

The Fan Pack will feature the three new maps Calypso Casino, Murdertown and CQB Training and add new XP ranks beyond Elite as well as additional A.C.E.S. Along with the Fan Pack, Ubi will release an update for the title that'll make RSV2 even more enjoyable including the addition of a grenade indicator, a new High Stakes setting, a few balancing tweaks and various gameplay updates. There's also a rumor floating around that with the Fan Pack DLC download gamers will receive a free buy one buffet get one free printable coupon. That rumor has yet to be confirmed. Awesome, haven't played this sine the end of april. Just the thing to get me back to playing it.

I have stopped playing this game because after GTA IV came out the online community went down hill. Hopefully this will make me want to return. I hope they sort out Attack and Defend, with limited respawns an poor balancing, plus no Calypso that gametype was ruined.

ok, is ubisoft aware of how fucked up the online play is for this game??

the lag is TERRIBLE. the only time a match is good is when the lag is tolerable, I have never seen free match.

You have to play with less than 10 people.

whats worse I can not search for terrorist hunts or campaign co op modes. as soon as I hit enter it says no matches are available like it doesnt even look.

I looooove this game but the online is sooooo fucked up its a shame.

It really suffers with bad connections. If you have players from your own country then you are fine, but get 1 person with a slower ping and it falls over.

I never had an issue with T/Hunt or Campaigns until GTA IV released, after that I couldn't find matches and gave-up. That did coincide with the patch, so maybe the patch was the issue.

yeah man, as soon as I downloaded that patch is when it stopped working.

it was fine before then, except the achievement glitches and other fuck ups they should have had in place before they rushed this game out.

it sucks that I hate something I like so much.
