Rumor busted: My GamerPad is a big fat phony

Hey, remember that rumor that Microsoft was developing a service called My GamerPad that was an awful lot like Sony's (still unfinished) Home service on the PS3? You can stick a fork in that rumor. It's done. DCEmu reports that the supposed image from My GamerPad (top left) is nothing more than a Photoshopped version of an image taken from deviantART user saffiq. So there you go kids. Remember, if it looks Photoshopped, smells Photoshopped, and tastes Photoshopped, it's ~~a duck~~ Photoshopped. You might also want to remember to make sure no one is around when it comes time to sniff and lick your computer screen though.

In the future, I think all rumors from 4chan should just be avoided. I mean, come on. Did you really believe that 4chan had the inside scoop on "My Gamerpad?"

If it is an internet rumor you can bet your ass ITS A TRAP (Betting your ass is not recommendable).

And if it comes from 4chan YOU KNOW IT IS DEFINITIVELY AN EFFING TRAP.

The question is, why bother?

This was quite possibly the lamest thing I've seen for a while, so what was the actual point in photoshopping something that was by all accounts very badly done, both photoshop and potential program wise? Surely the thrill of making a few people believe in some half arsed job you did on photoshop as something microsoft is developing is short lived.

My suggestion to this particular 4chan user and any other of a similar ilk, get better at using photoshop and produce something that microsoft themselves have to deny, not just steal an image from devientart, something that many people view and thus can go "wayddaminnit!" and then stick a back image of something that's been previewed from the front, but you obviously can't recreate because you lack photoshopping/3d prog skills, with a less than convincing shadow and a utterly pathetic interface. I will admit however that "Gamerpad" made me sigh a small laugh in appreciation of it's mild cleverness, other than that though, it was utterly pointless.

So in conclusion, get better at photoshop or don't claim it's real, just do it as a joke about the name gamerpad, otherwise you will incur the wrath of Andyface and his ranting abilities!
