Rumor: Rock Band 2 setlist partially leaked

If a segment on X-Play is to be believed a partial list of Rock Band 2 tracks have been revealed. One tipster snapped a photo from the popular G4TV show that listed several tracks, identified as Rock Band 2 songs by a small "2" icon to the left of the track listing. The rumored tracks for Rock Band 2 include:

"Panic Attack" - Dream Theater (or Finger Eleven)
"Chop Suey" - System of a Down
"Give It Away" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
"Everlong" - Foo Fighters
"Kids in America" - Kim Wilde
"Ace of Spades" - Motorhead
"Hello There" - Cheap Trick
"Anyway You Want It" - Journey
"Pinball Wizard" - The Who

It's notable that "More Than a Feeling" from Boston and "All the Small Things" from Blink 182 are listed and appear to have a different identifying icon. Considering both were downloadable Rock Band content the icon could signify DLC or an originally released track. For now throw it in the rumor mill but were sure hope these tracks are final. Also, Pinball Wizard? What a great idea!

Please tell me that its actually Dream Theater instead of Finger Eleven....i've been waiting for any of their songs to be in Guitar Hero or Rock Band since the game first came out...

What I want to know is if somehow you will be able to play the on-disc songs from RB1 in RB2. DLC is nice, but I like a lot of the songs on the RB1 disc also.

You should just put in the RB1 disc when you want to play RB1 songs.

Please tell me that's NOT Dream Theater...I don't want to have to play more crap haha. Also so far this set list isn't wowing me like they said it would. The only real good songs are "Give it Away" and "Pinball Wizard". System is a good band but "Chop Suey" is one of my least favorite songs. They need to do much better then this...

Grimm , Everlong is probably one of the greatest foo fighter songs. I don't know if you like them but this is a big selling point over GH4. If GH4 has good radiohead songs though, I'm sold.....

Honestly, no I haven't heard the song. Thank you for telling me about it though I will look it up and give it a listen. I do like the Foo Fighters I just haven't heard of that song.

I agree that there would be some fun parts in the song. I actually have nothing against the song I just think it's one of Systems worst songs. You know what would be insane?...I-E-A-I-A-I-O...yea good luck singing that song lmao.

Crap??!? Are you kidding? Admit it, you just wouldn't be able to play it. I just happen to like Dream Theater, and I can play some of their stuff on real drums anyway. So if DT didn't make it in RB2, I guess I wouldn't be too bummed.

But seriously, I'm not too impressed with any of these songs thus far. Being an old-schooler, I find that playing Rush or Boston in RB1 is the most fun anyway.

I'd love to see SOAD Chic N' Stu. The idea of singing "Pepperoni and green peppers, Mushrooms, olive, chives," is hysterical.

Plus if the game supports back up vocals it would make it even better. Though i have a feeling this song doesn't necessarily have the mass appeal they're looking for. Maybe DLC.

And yes, Queen (Don't stop me now especially) would = day 1 buy.

I was skeptical on getting another Rock Band... Rock Band 1 is great. I just played it again in a group yesterday.
I love the whole fact you can transport your purchased DLC over, which is going to be a huge selling point.

and now there's System of a down... it's now a must buy.

I'm going to be honest, as a drummer (a real drummer), Dream Theater has me very excited. As a singer too, Journey has me fired up too. And as an old school Chili Peppers fan, Give it Away is a classic! Can't wait for all three. In fact, would love to have full albums of all three bands.

Erm, I don't think so. It's already DLC on Rock Band 1, perhaps what you/they saw was the DLC from Rock Band 1? I doubt they'll release the same song again:

Now, quite personally:

JOURNEY!!! JOURNEY!!! JOURNEY!!!

I would have preferred "Don't Stop Believing" or "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)", but still a good song nonetheless.

Also, The Who, SOAD, and Ace of Spades? YES!
