Rumor: NG2 gets worthwhile DLC July 25?
The mission mode that was in the original iteration was incredibly popular among the franchise faithful for its focus on the game's main strength: pure combat. There are of course no details on how the implementation will work, but as long as it isn't just more of the Tests of Valor (we're really tired of that environment) we'll be ready to shell out the points if this hits on the 25th. Anyone else out there spot this on the Marketplace yet?

Bah i guess i'll just have to skip on this one.Always having to pay for DLC...i guess it's time to dust off the ol ps3 and get myself mds4 tomorow.

Hah... wait, what? Last i checked no one is forcing you to buy the DLC for any game, its totally optional... and really mission mode exists only for those who just can't get enough of NGII... which CLEARLY isn't you since you decided to pass on a crazy button-mashing action game for a sneaking title... so why do you even care? I call shenanigans, you weren't ever in the market for NGII, were you?

Lol just noticed typo...metal deer would be a weird hunting game.I'm in the market for any kind of game...DLC is wicked when the simple stuff cost you.Instead of paying for the skins you should acquire them for beating the game in form of an easter egg.D'ont get me wrong,psn network does that on me too sometimes...just hate paying for the stuff you should acquire by just meeting certain conditions in the game!

Oh yeah I forget how is DLC still coming out? I mean didn't Itagaki leave and ain't Team Ninja or at least two people suing the company for Millions? And also WTF is Tecmo got to reveal at E3?

Hopefully they're planning on fixing some of the bugs soon. I'm a victim of the Chapter 10 glitch which prevents me from going anywhere. I have a choice, throw the game in teh garbage or start over. Tough decision...

Mission mode isn't for me, but I know a lot of people loved it in Ninja Gaiden Black.
Loving Ninja Gaiden II by the way. I even bought all the costumes... So please ease of the hatred against them, it makes me feel guilty about buying them!

Wow, I hope it is free or at least reasonable. Since it appears to be extra game modes, it ought to be free cause it sounds like they forgot to add it originally. Oh well, I guess they need to come up with the money some how to pay court and lawyer fees.
I like game updates a la Burnout Paradise method.

who cares about new missions that will most likely be impossible and unenjoyable with multiple bosses that weren't really fun to begin with, when there are so many technical problems?
whole bosses can disappear in this game forcing you to restart the damn game.
they better release a patch for the glitches soon before releasing anything like a mission mode.

I love how on psn almost everything is free like themes and that kind of stuff m$ charges us for everything DLC,gamerpics,themes, alot of that stuff should be free.

Only themes on PS3 are free, Sony would most probably do the same thing.

Sweet, i needed me some mission mode, and now that Itagaki isn't developing it (he's not a bad developer, but he probably gave up on it when he knew he was gonna quit), it might actually be good and not feel rushed.
