Rumor: Rock Band 2 setlist leak, part two
While we were already impressed by the originally leaked list of Rock Band 2 tracks, the latest leak has blown our collective minds. A thread on the Score Hero forums -- which has been locked and wiped by moderators for apparent NDA violations -- listed a new set of tracks for Rock Band 2. The listing comes from a user who claimed to have taken part in a play test of the game. It is plausable that the listing is legit due to the NDA violation discussion and subsequent moderation as well as the fact that the game is expected to be front and center at E3.
As for the list? It includes such heavy hitters as "Testify" by Rage Against the Machine, "Peace Sells" by Megadeth, "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett and so much more. Jump in for the full listing, but make sure you're sitting down ... this one could knock you off your feet!

I was actually listening to Guerrilla Radio when I saw this story. Hehe.
UNSCleric @ Jul 3rd 2008 1:07PM
Only two good songs in that whole list. :(
mirage @ Jul 3rd 2008 1:12PM
Let me guess...
You Oughta Know and One Step Closer!
Emo FTW!! ;)
Yuccadude @ Jul 3rd 2008 1:14PM
My music preferences are better than your music preferences!
There's plenty of great songs in this list, and I can't wait to get RB2. I like at least 7 of these straight up, and Rock Band songs tend to grow on you when you play them.
Lewis (GT: StoneRevolver) @ Jul 3rd 2008 1:18PM
HAHA Dude, Alanis Morissette and Linkin Park aren't emo.
mirage @ Jul 3rd 2008 1:23PM
Whiny, crying. That is Emo in my book. Maybe not technically Emo for the genre snobs out there, but Emo none the less.
Lewis (GT: StoneRevolver) @ Jul 3rd 2008 2:03PM
Most of the great classics are "whiny and crying" in one form or another.
Look at Blues, same subject, same mood, "whinying", but it's amazing.
mirage @ Jul 3rd 2008 3:43PM
AWWW SHIT!!! Always fucking naysaying! Goddammnit! You fucking naysayer!!!! ;)
Mauricio @ Jul 3rd 2008 5:40PM
Mirage, get learnt. Thats far from emo.
Whiny + Crying # emo.
Lewis is right.
mirage @ Jul 3rd 2008 7:17PM
I guess I have been officially learnt. I have to thank the Emo Nazi's for correcting me. While I am being learnt, can you tell me exactly what makes something"art"? I figure you are probably an expert on that subject too.
geopbob @ Jul 3rd 2008 1:12PM

I hope they have a yazz flute add-on instrument for "Aqualung"!
Aqualung @ Jul 3rd 2008 3:06PM
Dude, Aqualung doesn't have a single flute note in it.
dylan @ Jul 3rd 2008 1:25PM
Aqualung may be the greatest Rock Band song...

RATM is a VERY welcome addition to the track list.
DeadPlasmaCell @ Jul 3rd 2008 2:21PM
Good stuff.. With this & GH4 I'm going to have my hands full!
Thrombo19 @ Jul 3rd 2008 2:26PM
Another pretty good list. Can't expect to love every song, but if they keep showing lists where I am liking a decent percent like this, then RB2 is gonna be worth the price of admission. Just show me all 80 already :)
Paligap @ Jul 3rd 2008 2:32PM
OK this just sold me... the Rage is awesome - Linkin Park (my son has been wanting that forever) but you are telling me one of my ALL TIME FAV songs is going to be on it.....
SNOT IS RUNNING DOWN HIS NOSE!!!! AQUALUNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG!!!!
GREAT CHOICE Harmonix - can't wait to see the rest and cannot wait for the Who DLC - Eminence (spelling?) Front is an AMAZING TUNE!!!!!
GH IS DEAD - LONG LIVE RB!
Big Bird @ Jul 3rd 2008 2:33PM
I have got to know which two songs are "the only good ones" on that list UNSCleric. lol I wouldnt list them either if that was comment with bands like:
AIC
RAGE
Soundgarden
Megadeath
and nirvana on that list.
ScallionN @ Jul 3rd 2008 3:43PM
>>Linkin Park
BLEH
Then again, Rock Band 1 wasn't ruined by Fallout Boy. Unless you had someone who wanted to play it over and over again.
Raul @ Jul 3rd 2008 4:16PM
billy idol.... this is a day one buy for me. day friggin one
psyborg @ Jul 3rd 2008 4:35PM
Holy shit that looks good. Rage, Nirvana, MegaDeth, BILLY IDOL, Even the Linkin Park song, while I hate Linkin Park like everyone else, that is the one song of thiers that I wouldn't mind seeing in Rock Band.
BILLY IDOL.
bugatti23007 @ Jul 3rd 2008 7:34PM
What about RATM--Calm like a bomb,Underoath-Writing on the Walls and Bullet for my valentine-Waking the demon,Story of the year-Til the day I die,and All songs from Three Days Grace, and Simple Plan and some from Paramore now thats a great list.
NineInchNels @ Jul 3rd 2008 11:07PM
Whatever happened to good music? (everything on that list kicks ass except for) Linkin Park? Seriously? I've officially lost all hope for the music game genre...
One more thing: Megadeth! WOO! >_
jim @ Jul 4th 2008 1:21AM
i wonder if they would allow some way for you to play rockband 1 songs in rockband 2.. giving you an even LARGER set list.
