X3F Asks: What E3 coverage do you demand?
If you weren't already aware, team X3F (that's Richard and Dustin) will be boarding a plane this weekend, flying through the clouds and safely landing in Los Angeles, California just in time for this year's Entertainment Electronics Expo (E3) that's going down next week. So, that means we'll be bringing you daily coverage of all things E3 including game previews, news, interviews and other random goodness. But before we go, we need your help.To help us help give you the best E3 coverage possible, we want to know what content you're most interested in reading about. Would you prefer it if we'd focus more on game previews and interviews or is live blogging of all the various events and happenings of more interest to you? Or are you the kind of fanboy who wants to know all about the behind the scenes shenanigans that goes down on the expo floor and over at blogging HQ? To help gather your input, we created a handy poll for you to voice your opinion. Then, later in the week, we'll tally up the votes and use the results to provide the X3F community the bestest E3 coverage we can bring. Go ahead, tell us what you want ... we're your loyal blogging slaves all next week. Just be gentle.

I know.
This feels more like Would You Rather.

The live blogging is always fun and gives me something to do during a slow work week.

Game previews, reviews, interviews, live blogging, blah blah, will be done by almost ALL the websites. Each and everyone of them. No one really provides 'better' information than the other. Everyone is the same. So i voted for behind the scenes activities. I always liked that sort of thing. I always like to see how something is made...games, movies, shows, CGI...i want to know the process.
So yea, it will be great if X3F could provide behind the scene activities but also maintain the regular fodder.

I selected that too. I like the behind scenes stuff. I find it very neat and interesting. Whatever happened to the E3 dvd set they used to put out?

I agree with teabag live blogging, previews etc its already being covered by other sites, i would like to see something differant which is why i voted for behind the scenes! Dustin snortin coke behind the scenes FTW!

I didn't really have a good option above but I'd like to see interviews with Executives after E3 press conferences. I want you to ask them the hard questions like, 360 rumored price cuts, motion controllers, dashboard changes, Platinum title updates and stereoscopic functionality on the 360.
Other sites will have game previews on video and that is more desirable than reading about it. I think you guys should do what you do best, get the hard questions answered. Thanks. Love the site. Enjoy LA and remember to stay hydrated.
webster1990 @ Jul 7th 2008 10:31AM
A little/lot of all 3 would be good, but im gonna vote for live blogging
Jonman @ Jul 7th 2008 10:38AM
I want to see video footage of Dustin on a Bartles & James bender, trashing booths, leering at booth babes and developers alike, before draping himself over an obviously embarressed Mark Rein, declaring his undying love, then vomiting copiously over his shoes.
That's what I call behind the scenes reportage.
Dustin Burg @ Jul 7th 2008 10:55AM
hmm, this can be done ;)
Dimeadz @ Jul 7th 2008 11:10AM
Microsoft should get the demos from E3 to the Marketplace. That would bring a lot more excitement for the future games.
Dynamo Matt @ Jul 7th 2008 11:13AM
It's got to be live blogging for me - I want the news and announcements ASAP.
petersjov @ Jul 7th 2008 11:15AM
I say: Just go for what you feel ?, no one of the X3F readers wantes to miss out on stuff thats interesting, we just LIKE THE WAY YOU cover stuff, and not the boring way all the others do ;-)
ZeroCorpse @ Jul 7th 2008 11:39AM
Please spare us your "adventures" -- It's enough you get to attend E3 and we don't. Rubbing our noses in it is just cruel.
Hey Apples @ Jul 7th 2008 12:00PM
I want Rock Band 2 coverage. Lots of it!
Tucker @ Jul 7th 2008 12:08PM
Fear and Loathing at E3, please.
Baligouxji @ Jul 7th 2008 2:16PM
Cover all the basics with regards to news and interviews, but a little blogging adventure couldn't hurt either.
However, if you do delve into the realm of interviews, please ask what those S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Devs what are working on for the 360. And don't take no for an answer!
Boff @ Jul 8th 2008 9:59AM
Booth babe coverage please. And by that I mean lots of photos, not cover-up those scantily clad beauties.
