It's Tuesday and you know what that means.
Rock Band Weekly! Available now on the
Xbox Live Markeplace are four new tracks to help you rock out in style. "Snow ((Hey Oh))" and "Tell Me Baby" from Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as "Working Man (Vault Edition)" and "Closer to the Heart" from Rush dropped this morning for 160MS Points a piece ($2 in real money if your a currency snob) and are worth every penny. Unless RHCP and Rush aren't your thing that is. If free is more your style then may we recommend "Promised Land" from Vesuvius, which has been on the Marketplace for a little while but is still worth a look for the price. That price, if you missed it, is free. Happy rocking!

I've heard the Vesuvius track is not good at all. Haven't played it myself.

I just got snow(say oh) and the expert guitar is actually hard compared to other RB songs.

I'll definitely be picking up at least one of the Rush tracks when I get home today! :D

I'd really, really, really, rather have some older-school RHCP, like from BSSM or Mother's Milk. This is a good start though. And as much as I hate Rush, I really like playing Rush songs in RB. It's a horrible, horrible quandary. In other words, this is a full-on buy week for me.

Rumor is RB2 will have Give It Away... though it's pretty much a mainstream hit anyway. I'd like Me and My Friends, Under the Bridge, and maybe Fight Like a Brave. But that's me.

I agree. I enjoyed it on the drums.

Downloaded Vesevius, haven't played it yet though.
I'll end up buying all 4 of these eventually.
You have to wonder though; why not secure ONE more song for each band and give us a pack?
