Earlier this morning, we were treated to a new
Mirror's Edge trailer full of informative story bits and all kinds of animated action. Sadly though, no actual in-game footage. But that's where the release of
NEW screenshots comes in and that's exactly what we have. Gently added to the gallery below are four super fresh
Mirror's Edge screenshots depicting the game's gorgeous environments, Faith's pants and two screenshots
are green! Yes, the game doesn't only feature blue and orange prettiness, it does green too! Amazing!

Game looks good, but would like to see real time game play.

Every time I see this game, I find more reasons to love it.
I think I'm more excited to see how this game turns out more than any other game currently in development (even Gears 2, sorry Dustin).

we're still cool, Mirror's Edge does look sexy

So from these screenshots it seems evident that a large portion of this game is spent looking at your feet...

This game looks shit hot. Bad Company proved DICE can make an excellent single player game, I am very excited about this one. May even pick up the tote bag preorder so I can run around Baltimore pretending to be a small Asian girl.

I thought this was a PS3 exclusive! Now I only have Little Big Planet staring at me to make me want a third game system... and if they would come out with a Blu-Ray add-on for my Xbox I wouldn't even consider it.

same here mate - the only PS3 title i'd consider getting a PS3 for is Little Big Planet.
oh yeah, & Blu-ray of corse : )
a Blu-ray addon for the XBOX 360 would be sweet although unlikly.

I feel like I should be excited for this but...I just can't.

I'm digging the vibrant colors and clean look. Seems too many games these days go for the grimmy, gritty look to try to make the game feel darker. Hopefully this game will counter this trend.

While the free running aspect will be fun (assassins creed and crackdown proved that) Im not sure that the gameplay and gunplay will tie together well. And the story sounds ridiculous. It's the future, and the only way to send secure messages and packages is via a runner that conspicuously runs and jumps across rooftops? Really?
dreamscape86 @ Jul 12th 2008 9:48AM
I don't understand the draw of first-person freerunning. It's cool in Assassin's Creed because it has a very cinematic aspect to it. It seems like first person will just be weird. Freerunning is fun to watch, but first-person takes away all the cool parts...
