Molyneux feels sorry for Dyack and Too Human
Why all the Denis Dyack (stuck) hating? That's the question Fable 2's Peter Molyneux (stuck) seems to have asked himself because recently, in an interview with VideoGamer, Molyneux expressed sorry feelings for Dyack and how he and Too Human have been treated as of late. "I feel sorry for Denis Dyack because you know, I think a few things were said wrong, there was that really unfortunate showing at E3 a few years ago" Molyneux continued, saying that "everyone got on the bandwagon of saying things about Too Human." Peter then threw his support behind Too Human saying that "it's a good game" admitting that "it doesn't deserve a lot of that harsh criticism."A perfect example of how developers have to stick together if they want to survive in the industry. Strength in numbers, friends, strength in numbers.

Very disturbing.
spamsphen @ Jul 23rd 2008 3:17PM
just another reason why Molyneux is the shit.
Dirty @ Jul 23rd 2008 3:24PM
Molyneux knows what it is like, after fable everyone hated on him for over hyping his game. The game was great but not a lot of people could get past the over promising.
The thing that sucks about this situation is that a developer opened its doors and let us see in on the development process, we got to see a lot from this game. Then people just turned it around and slammed them for everything they did, started judging it before they played it. Dont expect Silicon knights or any other developer to make that mistake again.

Agreed.
I can't get enough of the Too Human demo. The game is a blast. I had to do a couple run throughs before getting comfortable with the ruins/equipment creation, skill point allocation, etc...but once I got comfortable, it's awesome.

Second..
First play-Throuh: Meh
Second Play-Through: This is pretty sweet
Third Play-Through: Reserved.

I see that picture and I don't think "celebrated video game developer." I think "repeated child sex offender."

... ouch ...
ryan @ Jul 23rd 2008 4:21PM
that's quite nice of him to support a fellow developer when his game is getting alot of flack.
it still plays like crap IMO tho, regardless of "getting on the bandwagon." demo was just not very fun.

The Xbox community is shit in general. Just head over to Majornelsons comments section and you should get yourself a good idea of what a big chunk of the Live members are like.

That is a terrible and ugly photoshop. LOL.
Knight Marquise @ Jul 23rd 2008 5:08PM
In your opinion, it "plays like crap". In my opinion, the game rocks...and yes it's en vogue to hate on Dyack right now for whatever fanboy reason.
einherjan @ Jul 23rd 2008 6:36PM
I agree, though I have only played the demo. I hate the camera but it's a good premise and fun to play. After all I love Vikings.
Knight Marquise @ Jul 23rd 2008 7:28PM
The camera does take some getting used to, actually reminds me of Ninja Gaiden, but the recenter button tap on NG works better, imo.

This demo ROCKS!
It rocks more when you set the date a month ahead and unlock the rocking Berserker and Commando classes. Read it at Gamefaq...tried it and it works...Confirmed ;)
It rocks more when you learn how to unlock the Defender and the Bio-Engineer...but that story is for another rocking time my rocking friends.
I totally rocked at Champion and Defender. Lv 7.5 in demo.
Commando, Berserker and especially the Bio-Engineer....not so much rock for me, unfortunately. ,'(
Rocking tips:
Camera set on Strategic setting. (Up/Down) on digital pad for camera change.
From afar shoot..shoot.shoot..click LT for bomb...click Right Anolog to reload, rinse and repeat.
When close hold Right Analog in enemies direction. Keep holding to Rock Out!
Double tap Right Analog in enemies direction to start juggling.
Tap UP on both Analog sticks to do rocking move that is specific to each rocking class.

New Vids up on gametrailers for the preorder armors. Commando armor FTW!

lol, every armor type reminds me of Judge Dredd.
Boff @ Jul 24th 2008 6:34AM
I thought the demo was sweet, this has been on my must-buy list for a long long time. Just the whole Norse-Mythology-meets-Sci-Fi-in-an-action-RPG premise had me sold.
Yes, a lot of you will think I'm sad.
