MS promises to 'explore' not exploit the Halo brand

Even with three Halo games completed, two more in the works, memorabilia spanning the retail spectrum from board games to action figures, Microsoft promises not to exploit the Halo brand. Though, "exploring" the brand is fair game.

Bungie's Microsoft's own Frank O'Connor reiterated their Halo franchise intentions after the recent Comic-Con funnery admitting that "the Halo universe is really, really big now." O'Connor continued saying that "we have a well defined, carefully orchestrated, properly planned universe to explore not exploit" admitting "that's the tricky part: what are the things people want to do?"

Just don't over-whore out yourselves guys (we're looking at you too Bungie, we know you still have a microscopic amount of control over how the Halo franchise is handled). There's a fine line between giving fans what they want and becoming a total sell out. We trust in you though.
