EA's Tiberium gets smacked with the delay stick

The primped and preened EA executives had to pass along some not so enjoyable video game delay news during the EA Q1 conference call last night and, with a heavy heart and misty eyes, we must tell you that Tiberium will be seeing a delay. Sniffle, sniffle. According to the EA execs, the Command & Conquer based FPS Tiberium (initially thought to release later this Fall) will now hit retail shelves sometime in EA's fiscal 2010. Meaning that Tiberium will release sometime after March 31st, 2009. Odd too, because we thought the gameplay footage they released back in January looked pretty polished. Bleh.
