Tera Patrick takes it off for Saints Row 2

You may have heard that Tera Patrick -- do not Google her name at work! -- was "hired" as a "special" "producer" on Saints Row 2. It looks like we now have an idea of what she'll be "contributing" to the game's development: developer diaries. The first dev diary is really just a tease of future Tera Patrick dev diaries. She gabs about the game's features and takes off her clothes, all with the kind of forced sexiness that only a porn star can deliver.

I'm going to make a point of NOT buying this game now. Doing this as a publicity stunt seems so... desperate and will probably appeal most to those in the same situation.

Saints Row 1 was a pretty decent gta clone, sad to see it go downhill in a desperate attempt for attention in this post GTAIV world.

And this is what the dev team for SR2 wants to do to add controversy??? Honestly, I think the devs are trying a little bit too hard to create such a stir. I mean with all the negative attention received by GTA4 with nary a porno star in sight, i'm thinking this game is going to create a storm of opposition.

Uh..bwah? Whole thing just screams sleazy. o.0 If this is what they have to do to sell their game i wonder just how bad it has to be.

I don't need some air head with an over sized chest to tempt me into a game, it's rather insulting.

Although perhaps I just need to loosen up and not take it so seriously, still, i have to wonder what their intentions was with this.

I kind of agree. I mean, GTA IV didn't have to whip out Ron Jeremy or unleash Jenna Jameson on the public in order to advertise their game.

If the game requires the company to shell out bucks for a porn star's silly tease-promo, then I wonder how bad the game is?

It's like they're trying to distract us.

I think everyone is taking it to seriously.

The video is on point advertising the character customization. Saints Row beat GTA3:SA and Saints Row 2 will probably beat GTA4's customization options. (I might even go as far as to say the customization in SR1 was superior to GTA4's customization! GTA4 really disappointed me in it's customization options if you can't tell!)

The usage of the porn star is just playing into the "gangster" or "macho(ismo)" character one plays as when playing Saints Row or GTA. I'm pretty sure they know that their advertisement isn't going to be your premium outlet for tera patrick viewing and are only using her to getting your attention(as sex in advertising is usually used this way. A visual attention getter...which then only maintains your attention if the content of the product being advertised actually is worthy of such attention.)

Anyways, you guys are taking it too seriously!

I'll rent this game tho... I never buy anything until I see serious multilayer potential...

They haven't gone low, infact, I feel this will attract alot of customers. If you don't want to buy the game then don't. Nobody cares about you.
