Now this is how you promote
Viva Piñata. Parodying the
Halo 3 Believe advertisement that swept a camera through a gorgeously crafted diorama, this trailer takes the characters of
Piñata Island and places them in a similar epic battle -- complete with the original dramatic music. Is it fan made or legit? We don't know. It looks so good that it may be a professional job but it's so creative that it seems fan made. Who cares really, it is incredible. Also it works because now we totally can't wait for
Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise to ship. We just hope it isn't like
Halo 3 in that it doesn't include a scenario like this one at all.
Watch it. Live it. Love it. This trailer is epic. Believe.
[Thanks, Sean]

As a fan of both Viva Pinata and Halo, I say thank you to the clever bastard that made this.
You are my hero.

aaron @ Aug 1st 2008 12:31PM
that would be an outstanding ad.... im sure its fan made but it would have been awesome to see on tv as the "official" tv ad and play off halo.
Arnon @ Aug 1st 2008 12:40PM
Haha! That was epic!
Kaitis @ Aug 1st 2008 12:50PM
LOL those are the toys from Burger King. I can't believe there was even a question if it was real.
zourskittles @ Aug 1st 2008 1:14PM
You say that like Xav should have remembered what toys he got in his kids meal. I highly doubt much people would know where these things came from.
Eddie @ Aug 1st 2008 1:54PM
Except for all of X3F Nation, that is:

Wonder how many man-hours that took to make, pretty amusing.
Fire Fawkes @ Aug 1st 2008 4:34PM
That was fantastic. Maybe if Rare really used this ad, they would sell some more copies (heck, if they use ANY ad...the original was criminally ignored)
jake18oly (XBL,PSN: RSXtypeSfan) @ Aug 1st 2008 4:48PM
That was totally unexpected but I love it. I am one of the few who picked up Viva Pinata for myself and for my wife. We both really enjoyed it and are looking forward to Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise.
