Video: Grab the GeoWars 2 'Smile' achievement

If you're like us, you've already nabbed almost every achievement in Geometry Wars 2. Most of them are fairly challenging, though not overwhelming. Except one: "Smile." Easily one of the most difficult and most mysterious achievements in the game, Smile can be tricky. just requires a bit of persistance & luck in which direction you happen to be heading at the given moment.

the best advice for this achievement is to stay in the center of the screen & make minimal movements - took me around 5mins to get the achievement :)

I think that's a screen from Geo Wars Waves which was a bonus teaser of a minigame in PGR4

I've been putting off getting this game since I have the original and so much else is coming out this month... but honestly, this video makes it look pretty amazing. Those areas with nothing but gravity wells are awesome.

That means you'll get Game Over and Smile at once. Also, my method for smile leaves you with an extra life, so if you mess up once before finishing, you should still get Game Over.

Just watched the video. I almost did it the exact same way. Only thing was I saved 2 bombs for the last stage. I got there twice and both times died within like 3 seconds. So, I didn't use a bomb on the gravity well stage.

This was the best video I've seen for Smile. It is nice having someone talk and point out important things for each stage. Like not shooting a gravity well on the stages with all the blue diamonds.

And Hoffer, Many thanks. We're trying to set a new standard in Achievement Guide videos in production value, etc. And I usually can get through the Gravity Well level without bombing, but the compound pull of a bunch of them can be a little...random. Still, I mention in the video that bombing there is optional.

I can't get more than 3 achievements in geo wars #1... I'm not sure I should even bother trying any of the achievements in #2.

The majority of them are a bit easier to get than in GeoWars1.

Also, if you enjoyed the first one (despite the difficulty!) then you'll LOVE GeoWars2.

I had no idea what that achievement meant (then again, I wasn't even trying), so thanks!

Oh yeah, even though I'm not that pro at GW2, after seeing your video, I realised that I don't suck THAT hard too ^^

You also got some nice strategies for some stages that hammer me pretty hard, that will be helpful to increase my score (my current best score on sequence is 28M)

I found the best strategy is to not worry about doing it sequentially; it's a lot easier to control all the blue squares by herding them, then darting to the other side before they can change direction, etc.

...that being said, it's still pretty damn hard!
