Keen sighted fanboy Skandil just informed us that Bungie's plumber friend, the
Superintendent, has not totally disappeared from
Bungie.net following the big
E3 let down. He's actually still chilling on the homepage. Per the screenshot above (which we needed ninja-like reflexes to capture) you can see that the Superintendent appears on the top left hand corner of Bungie.net where Bungie's logo sits. Though, he only appears randomly and when he wants to. So, does this Superintendent appearance mean anything to us,
Halo, Bungie or the secret announcement? Maybe, but probably not. Our Superintendent friend is just chilling ... chilling on the Bungie.net homepage.
[Thanks,
Skandil]

Yeah, I thought the same thing. At first I was like "what did he move? No? Oh, he's just in the Bungie logo again." :(
I hope to find out what the SI is really all about SOON though. C'mon Bungie....

That has been there since the announcement and was never removed from the page when the announcement was canceled.

I am currently in the Seattle area, and decided to stop by Kirkland today on the way back from an outing to find Bungie Studios, and Kirkland has many crosswalks with bins where you will find flags to alert drivers with while you cross the street. There is one of these bins outside Bungie's office, and there was a Superintendent sticker placed on it. Bungie also uses light blue Marathon logos with a numbers on it for their parking passes. I also saw the security guard which has been seen in many of their videos. I'm going to submit the photos here when I get home to California.
