Finally! It looks like all the days of posting on message boards and making up accounts with the name "DeathTankZwei" have finally paid off.
Now many more people will be discovering the best tank game ever made. It's better than Worms, and it's better than Scorched Earth, people. I can say that because I've been into them longer than some people on this site have been alive.
It's basically a Tank Wars clone, the biggest catch being that it's simultaneous and up to seven players. I still play this with friends on my Sega Saturn all the time.
The game took advantage of every button on the controller, and while sometimes there were balance issues (the rich get richer and the poor get poorer), it's overall an awesome party game.
I wonder if Ezra Dreisbach will be involved in this at all? Well, that's it for me, the lord of the hovercoil in the blue tank, but unless you don't like awesome multi-player games, I trust you'll all be buying this.
Well, now that this is happening, all we've got to do is wait for something to happen with Herzog Zwei, another Zwei game that I've been wanting ever since I got my Wii. It's not on the VC, and it's not on XBLA. Only time will determine if we ever see it again. :/
I hope you don't mind the long post, but you have no idea just how long I've been waiting to here this news. It kind of hurts in a way, since I've never heard anybody criticize this game before (and have barely heard of it outside of a few small online communities, GameSetWatch, and my circle of friends) and now it's becoming mainstream, but I think it's all for the best.
Filled with Corbomite, your's truly, G.

oh yeah and if you really really want to you could download a genesis emulator and get the rom for Herzog Zwei. Though i suspect RTS from 89 might not cut the mustard right now. On another note google "Groundfire" its a Death Tank Clone and will give a rough idea to those who aint played what it like. I say rough tho as its by no means complete and i suspect never will be :)

Rocking game. Best ever. Way better than Scorched Earth. And to Joey who said
"I am just gonna say I own Worms. No thanks."
Worms is nothing compared to Death Tank.
Christ I LOVE THAT GAME> Been downloading crappy clones for years trying to get that game again. Saturn went missing a few years ago otherwise i'd still boot it up to play that game. Going to have to buy a 360 for it now.
