Great, i barely have time as it is and these people want to keep releasing new games. Damnit i dont have enough money for this lifestyle or the time to dedicate to it.

wow, so its fable II, farcry 2, fallout 3, dead space, and then Gears 2 all within...what? Like 3 weeks of each other. I think the FEAR sequel, project origin, is in there somewhere too. sigh...this is as bad as last year...if not worse. but hey, i'm wont complain too much about a ton of awesome games coming out.

Bring. It. On.
DudeRed @ Aug 20th 2008 3:55PM
Okay...so I have a whole week to dedicate to Fable 2.
Then who knows what will happen to me when I have to decided between fable and fallout!!

I'm poor. And I have to choose one, while the other waits. I'm torn between the two. I think I'm going to go with Fable 2 as of now.
Trogdor @ Aug 20th 2008 4:07PM
Man, I guess I'm going to have to wait for this one since I'm already getting Fable 2.
I guess having a surplus of must-have games is better than the alternative, right?
Kizzle @ Aug 20th 2008 4:21PM
Wasn't this supposed to launch way earlier in the month, like the 8th or so? Man, that would have been a ton better; now we have this, Dead Space, Guitar Hero World Tour, MK vs. DCU, Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 2 all coming out in the span of under 2 weeks. Feel like earlier in the month would be a ton better (for the success of the game and my own personal timeframe as well).

Dustin,
I believe EA moved up the Dead Space launch date to October 20, 2008 a little while back, so at least our wallets do not totally shrivel up.

No kidding. "Sorry kids, no Christmas this year. October took all our money."
Does anyone remember a release date of Oct. 2nd for Fallout 3? I could have sworn I was going to have some time to play it before Fable II came out...
Myztic7x @ Aug 20th 2008 4:55PM
Yey! My birthday. Feels like I hit the jackpot.
Now I have to see when World Tour comes out and I'lll be set.
MrKniceGuy @ Aug 20th 2008 4:59PM
I found several sites stating the release was set for October 7th.. no mention of why the change. Any guesses? They used the 360 to demo the game at E3...
*cough* PS3! *cough* *cough*

I just wrote up a little memo to myself earlier today and yeah..chomp on this'a bit of information:
1.Dead Space, 2.Fable II and 3.Far Cry II all release essentially the same week, the week of Monday, October the 20th.
(My birthday is the 25th..feel free to gift me!..)
4.Fallout III hits on the 28th.
5.Left 4 Dead hits on November 4th.
6.Gears of War 2 hits November 7th. (That's a Friday, by the way.)
If you'd purchase all of these titles at standard pricing, you'd be paying somewhere around
$360.00 US.
Magic Whiskey @ Aug 20th 2008 5:54PM
I almost forgot..Lord Of the Rings Conquest and 007: Quantum of Solace also release the same day as Left 4 Dead, November 4.
THEN...on November 11, Call of Duty: World At War and Mirror's Edge release. So who ELSE is already broke?
Boff @ Aug 21st 2008 4:38AM
Don't even go there. All of the above and also Star Wars, SFIV, Saint's Row 2, Mercs2, Too Human, Pure.
The next 3 months are going to be costly. And I'm having trouble thinning out my 'must-have' list!!
