It's not a glitch, Tiger is just that good

A video response to a classic YouTube video that poked fun of a glitch in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 where Tiger makes a shot for Par while standing on water is making the rounds this week online. EA Sports has released a new promotional video that tries to disprove the animation was a glitch by showcasing the skills of the real man himself. The video above, which was created in good fun, shows the real life Tiger Woods walk on water to a lost ball only to sink the shot with a slick chipshot. The video, which is used to promote the upcoming Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 release, concludes with the line, "It's not a glitch. He's just that good." Great viral video that will unfortunately be taken out of context. Enjoy it now on YouTube or wait for the CNN Special Report.

What's up with the commentators in this game? I'm still playing the '07 version, so maybe they've improved, but... I'm on the green, 3 ft to the hole, the commentator says, "This one will break severely to the right." Meanwhile, the ideal putt indicator shows it straight as an arrow...

Overall, TW PGA Tour is a fun game. I'm sure I'll get 08 and 09 as the price comes down.

We all saw how much they threw crap at Madonna for having a black Jesus in her music video 'Like a Prayer'.

I for one think it is an awesome video and hope to see more tounge in cheek stuff from them.

It's simple yet well done. They even took time to input nuances like Tiger taking off his shoes and socks first. They'd have to work pretty hard to make nonsense out of this, but I have faith mass media will find a way.

This is great fun. It was humor like this that convinced me to buy battlefield bad company. They have something going for them here, i still won't buy the game because i don't like sports games (mainly becuase i suck at them admittedly) but i lol'd none the less.
