Nice interview I might pick up Too Human after all. Just one question, Whats with the "Media Offline mvt_0021" for like a split second? subliminal messaging! =/
(this comment system is wierd)
RedSonRising @ Aug 25th 2008 12:46PM
No no no!! ok, yes the interview is nice and shiny but no no no!!! the propaganda blitz now surrounding Tool Human is suffocating..
3 SK articles in 2 hours? me thinks the overkill button has been mashed.. the game has clearly fallen totally short of all expectations.. let it dyack already.. please..
b8am4xx @ Aug 25th 2008 1:24PM
Well, it may have fallen short of your expectations, but not mine. It was well worth the money to buy, personally.
joevloet @ Aug 25th 2008 12:58PM
Too Human is a fun game it is the shortest game I have ever played. it is a rental.
Dirty @ Aug 25th 2008 1:43PM
Depends on your play style. I have been taking the time to get the armor sets and play through the old levels again. Haven't gotten a lot of hours in but I dont feel like its short.
Plus I am probably going to do at least one more class and a different character online co-op with friends.
I agree though, it this doesn't instantly appeal to you just rent.
iFester @ Aug 25th 2008 1:29PM
Great work Xav! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this. I for one am having fun with the game despite a few issues I have with it, but hey nothings perfect. Plus I'm Canadian, I like to support our local talent.
Before anyone boos that last comment, if the situation were reversed with a U.S. developer and you liked the game despite the naysayers you'd defend them too right?
ZEBRA NINER @ Aug 25th 2008 2:02PM
Boo! Wait, what? :) I'm loving the game, even though it's a product of America's Hat(Canada).
Dlacy13g @ Aug 25th 2008 2:31PM
I know this is X3F, but its also Joystiq...and well I take some issue with the amount of "coverage" you have given SK interms of articles and interviews. I mean you guys have milked it to borderline over the top. How many articles have you done, how many interviews...all of them are playing nice with Dennis talking up the game, etc. Then you turn and litterally trash the game as though you had never seen it before. You whored out SK for news articles and site hits...and then you back stabbed them for their generousity.
Don't get me wrong..I have enjoyed these interviews, I just don't care for the way you double talked SK in the end. If you were going to trash the game, then a more adversarial / questioning/ callin the game out type interview would have been nice to see leading up to the release.

Too - Human is the furthest thing from being a rental. Ok... so you finished the game....in what? 8-10 hrs. What skill level were you at the end of your 1st time through? Did you try all the other classes? Do you even get the game ?? There's alot more to this game than slashing through it only one time. (IF YOU RENT THE GAME , YOU RIPPED YOURSELF OFF) BUY IT!! DON'T BE SCARED
dude @ Aug 25th 2008 2:41PM
The game gets harder as you play through a 2nd , or 3rd time...according to your skill level.
EMaster @ Aug 25th 2008 8:05PM
Please tell me someone asked Dyack about the infamous Sega CD game he made "Kriss Kross: Making a Video" or the Marky Mark counterpart. I really want to know how he got into making those games back then.
joeybeast @ Aug 26th 2008 12:59AM
He look very human, almost too human.
insane_cobra @ Aug 26th 2008 9:34AM
Great stuff, give more, now!
emirabal @ Aug 26th 2008 10:09AM
Great video, it reminds me a little of the pixar video, the guys got a dream and hes pulling it through, the end product caters to certain people, i will definitely give too human a try just not now.
Money man money
