Dead Space backstory with No Known Survivors

EA just sent word that they've launched a new Dead Space website that's aimed at telling some of the game's backstory over the course of nine weeks which, coincidentally, will lead right into the game's October release.

NoKnownSurvivors.com is the Dead Space website and upon arriving you'll be greeted with nine floating body parts (as well as an age gate, darn age gates.) Currently, only one limb is clickable and upon its clicking, you'll be dropped into the Ishimura's Organ Replacement Lab to uncover all its secrets, who's involved and what has been going on. We're being promised a bunch of interactive Dead Space goodness and information over the course of the next few weeks and, by the looks of things already, it'll keep obsessed Dead Space fanboys plenty busy. Also, head on over to IGN's Expanded coverage section where we're told complimentary information (photos, audio files, etc.) are being released.
