Locksley track pack hits Rock Band
After the unfortunate mess that was the Rush Moving Pictures DLC failure, Harmonix has released a new track pack to take its place. Available on Marketplace now is a new track pack from the group Locksley. We've never heard of them, but we have to admit it's pretty good. Check out a video of their song "She Does" after the break.
So, it ain't Moving Pictures, but it's something, right? Right?

Since when was The Hives the first of their kind? I like them too but come on, stop defending please...

These guys are not a wart on the ass of the bass player of the Hives.
This is half a step above "Tiger Beat" nonsense.

This is the first DLC release I know I'll never get, and I usually jump on 80MSP content even if I don't care much for the music.
Sucks too, added 2000 points on tuesday for Castle Crashers and Moving Pictures. Maybe I'll just get Galaga Legions.

I think Locksley is a bit more pop driven than the Hives, but I definitely see the comparison there.

I am glad to see they were able to get something out this week even if it was not what we were hoping for.

I read on Joystiq (a comment) that this band opened for Hanson at some point in time. I don't think I'll even give this a preview.
Kizzle @ Aug 29th 2008 11:51AM
Correct. These guys are crappy power-pop Beatles wannabes. Some of the worst DLC ever.

Uh...who?

some artsy indie band from New York that is MTV's Artist of the Month next month. will be irrelevant by November.

This isn't showing up in the music store in the actual game though, weird.

Granted, I'm just as disappointed as the next loser who sits around his T.V. playing plastic instruments....chomping at the bit for some Rush. That said, I just listened to these Locksley guys. They aren't bad. Sure, they are unknown, but there music is pop-fun. Granted, hard to get anyone to play these songs at a party...since they are currently unknown. But, I can see them getting popular. I haven't bought them yet, but will drop at least 80 MS Points, maybe even 240 on this stuff.
Priority right now is obtaining AN-I-MAL!!! achievement before September 14.
You can read all my nonsense at my blog: http://blog.javadevelop.com. Feel free to write a post or comment there too. It's a place for us losers to talk about the things we love.

I love Locksley, they are NOT crappy power-pop Beatles wannabes!!! And don't dis them if you're not even gonna listen to them, if you did you would like them and I know it! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you don't need to say all the crap you are commenting about them!
