I enjoy the opening serve the most. Nothing gets you like a 140 mph ball to the face.

My favorite tennis shot? At least in my personal history it was when I hit this kid right in the nuts on an overhead slam in high school. Man that was funny... but I felt bad for him. He was a trooper and played through the pain. We won 6-0, 6-1 (doubles). We were pissed we gave up that one game.
FR3SH JIV3 @ Sep 3rd 2008 1:50PM
The kind of shot that wins the game? OK, so I don't know any shot names but nothing like a futuristic game of Pong to put a smile on the face.
VAlmendarez @ Sep 3rd 2008 1:50PM
Backhand!

the shot where you hit your doubles partner with the serve because he's really your life coach moving in on the girl he's supposed to help you get. ( school for scoundrels )

JBrumleve @ Sep 3rd 2008 2:05PM
The backhand as well, there's nothing else quite like it.
Eric H. @ Sep 3rd 2008 2:06PM

Nothing like watching your opponent struggle to get to a good drop shot.
Jonman @ Sep 3rd 2008 2:08PM
In a previous life as a cocktail barman, I invented a cocktail during Wimbledon. I call it the 'New Balls Please'
1 part vodka,
1 part lemoncella
pinch of grated ginger
dash of amaretto.
Shake with ice and serve in a chilled shot glass.
That, good sirs, is my favourite tennis shot.
Eric H. @ Sep 3rd 2008 4:41PM
Give this man a game, for he has surely destroyed the competition.
