Halo 3 double EXP weekends are gone ... for now

Halo 3 double experience point weekends, events that have become a tradition to H3 gamers for months now, are sadly taking a hiatus this and next weekend. What's the reason for a lack of weekend EXP? Well, Bungie is preparing to roll out the new September matchmaking playlist update as well as the second Halo 3 title update. For those who demand their two times EXP, remember you can still play Ranked Big Team Battle, because it's a double EXP playlist until it gets retired two weeks from now. And if that still doesn't satisfy your double need, we recommend chewing some Doublemint to take the edge off.

Funny how no one has mentioned that this is the same week the cod4 is finnaly getting double exp.

I used to be die-hard COD... I could care less about their double XP weekend. The game is just too easy.
