New Live bundle with Chatpad and PGR4 for $69 [update]
Update: According to Xbox.com's accessory page, this new bundle will be available at retailers on October 7th.
By golly, that Live 12 month bundle rumor turned out to be true. Over on Xbox.com, a new listing for a 12 month bundle called the "Xbox LIVE Messenger Gold Pack" popped up and is listed at $69, which is actually a pretty darn good deal. Included in the Messenger Gold Pack is a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live, a Chatpad, a wired headset and a copy of Project Gotham Racing 4. Not too shabby, especially for those in the market for Live subscriptions and Chatpads.

Makes you wonder if Gold memberships are going to drop in price... that's a pretty good deal, considering that the accessories and game add up to $70+ anyways. Maybe gold is going to drop down to $20 a year as part of NXE?
And yes, I know that they offered an xbox bungle with the flying game and headset for the Xbox for around the same price, but now they're including the chatpad as well...

yeah boy! Just got a renewal for 1 year just last week. Stupid Monkeys! Too bad there isn't any consistency in Xbox Live's marketing approach. :( Oh well. I chat enough at work as it is.. ;) cheerz!

That is a pretty sweet deal indeed. I've been looking to get a chatpad myself. Trying to crank out a message to someone, with the on-screen keyboard, before a match starts up in Halo 3 is such a pain. The chatpad retails for 30 bux alone. I already have PGR3, so I would give that away to a friend.

PGR4 is way better than 3, in my opinion... I'd hold on to it if you just have 3 :)
I wish there were two game packages since I'd get this, but already have PGR4.

Yeah I saw this was coming out and held of getting a year subscription when I needed it. Just copped a 1 month mid September so it should expire right in time for this to already be out.
