Now, we've read some comments complaining that it's hard to tell the difference between the voices of Alexander and Dustin. Frankly, it's something we've never understood. They sound completely different. Like, totally. But there is a new comment, and that is that Richard (that's me!) sounds exactly like Chris Grant from the Joystiq Podcast. This is patently false, and we're going to prove it.

I found it funny how articles and fanboys were all in a furor over the one day outage of XBL.

Some were wanting money refunds or a free game, month of live, etc.

One article was like "MS making 1.6 million dollars on the day XBL isn't online."

But really, World of Warcraft has weekly server outages... and thats for 5-8 hours at a time too. Does Blizz give players extra game-time or money refunds for that? No... and Blizz charges like 15 dollars a month subscription fee(MS sub is 3-4 dollars month?). So Blizz are making far more money off of people EVERY WEEK, on a service that isn't online.

I fail to understand how any could every mix up Richard and Dustin..it baffles me. I could understand if they were close, but those two sound nothing alike. *shakes head* (That's actually been bothering me since the last podcast!) Anyway, can't wait to listen to this the new one later today...now if only we can find someone for Xav to sound like so he can be mixed up and misquoted...

completely unrelated topic: Why does Too Human still have a 'launch' page on X3F?

I just finished the game and returned it this weekend and ive been in a real 'hate hate hate' Tool Human funk ever since.. Besides that, several other games have been released since with much less promotion and much better reviews..

if staring at Baulder's face for an extra few months is the price for an interview with D. Dyack and co id rather see an ad taking up that space. (and not one paid for by Silicon Knights either)

No one is paying for the Too Human banner. We just put a lot of effort into the coverage and wanted to make sure it got some visibility.

There are other things on the way though, and we will rotate the banners appropriately.

im confident that the coverage wasnt paid for, im honestly just tired of looking at that banner. and it really doesnt help that last week i finally gave too human an honest chance and didnt enjoy most of it..

x3f put more effort in the too human coverage than the sk crew put into finishing the game.. again, im pretty bitter about spending 8 bucks and 5 days on the too human rental.. ask me in a week and i probably wont care as much..
