Just barely stopping short of confirming downloadable content for
Fable II, Lionhead ... um ... head Peter Molyneux
told VideoGamer.com that it would be "pretty dumb" not to have DLC planned. Declining to officially detail what that DLC might be -- it doesn't officially exist, remember -- he did say what it
might be
if Lionhead was planning something. What it shouldn't be, according to Molyneux, is "just a whole load of new weapons and armour." Molyneux states that the content should be "a bit more tangible," adding, "it would be nice if you didn't have to wait months and months for it as well."
Just what is the mysterious and unofficial DLC? More missions perhaps? New locations to explore (the Limited Edition comes with an
extra dungeon, after all)? A racecar bed?

It probably will be extra missions. I can't see it just being extra weapons and armor.

Let's use the Molyneux equation... Take whatever he says divide by the square root of Pi multiply by 14.9 and you'll end up with what he is promising...
By my calculations instead of getting new missions for 800 MS points, you'll get a paper cut for 400 MS points.

There was always that bridge that never was repaired in Fable 1. It would have lead you in between larger rocks near a waterfall. Yea... would have been nice to have some DLC to allow you to go through. Fable 2 will finally let us "fix" those unfinished or damaged bridges. Metaphorically and physically speaking. ;) Please follow Bethesda's lead Lionhead. Nice juicy bits of DLC here and there with larger expansions later on. (Yes, I would even buy the dog armor) I don't mind being the horse lead by a carrot on a stick strapped to my back... I just better be eating it eventually, too.
