360Sync has
revealed the entire list of achievements for
Call of Duty: World at War, the next installment in the long standing war series. The achievements are pretty standard, offering points for completing various levels and tasks within those levels during the campaign. Some are reserved for solo play only, while others can be achieved in co-op as well. Our favorite is probably 'No Safe Place' which awards 15 gamerscore for burning an enemy out of a tree with a flamethrower.
Also worth noting is that there aren't any achievements for online versus multiplayer. It appears that restricting achievements to the main campaign has become the mantra for
Call of Duty games, as
Call of Duty 4 had no online achievements either. Head over to 360Sync to check out the full list.

COD2, COD4, and now this one will have no MP ch33voz. Great news IMO.
Stupid COD3 >:( Even though I actually enjoyed it I didnt like the MP ch33vz it had.

Agreed. Great to know that there's a good chance at being able to get maximum gamerscore, without having to spend endless hours being humiliated online (thanks, Halo and GoW).
...saying that, I'm STILL trying to get that damn Mile High Club achievement...

Finally Single player / Co-op achievements.I need 4 achievements in Battlefield Bad company and I really don't want to play online any other game (Maybe Gears 2 and Left 4 dead I dunno) .

Probably a scoring system like Halo's or even the arcade mode in COD4... i never used that tho so i dont know if it had scoring... also i wonder what the 2 secret achievements are

there are 2 online achievments, but they are worth 0 points.
