World at War beta tokens being awarded

Activision has unleashed the Call of Duty: World at War beta token flood gates and officially launched the friends and family beta. What? Not considered to be part of the uber l33t CoD friends and family? Then know that they've also started the beta code awarding process where, if you're a prestigious member of the Call of Duty community you'll get an invite in the coming days. Or, for the not so loyal, you can simply pre-order World at War at Gamestop and you'll be guaranteed beta entry. Good luck and play safe!

yea i got an email from gamestop today saying I got the beta. Game is awesome. A lot better than I expected although the 7 kill streak gives you a pack of dogs which is weird. Other than that it is almost a direct copy of cod4 multiplayer which is a plus.

Check in your profile. You might find your key there. I didnt receive an e-mail but my beta key was sitting in my profile.

For those signed up at Callofduty.com and want to see if they have a beta key go to your account page and under the section where you can update your personal info (password, email....) you will see a beta code at the top. If you don't see one then you don't have one yet. I got one and did not receive any e-mail or anything. Check it out!

the dogs aren't so bad actually I think there alot easier to defend against though you can just knife them but yah if your good at cod4 then cod5 will be a breeze I'm lvl 11 2.3 k/d already in like 10 games

Ok, I signed up yesterday, and I was a CharlieOscarDelta member before the CoD4 beta came out, and I've done all the crap to recover it. I've looked everywhere people are saying to look, and I STILL haven't received a key. Should I just wait some more, or am I doing something wrong?

I think it might just take a little longer for some of us. I was a member of CharlieOscarDelta months before the COD4 beta came out, and I still haven't received a beta code. I transferred my account over about a month ago also.

Funny, I'm a VIP member. I linked my tag, and theres no token. Hopefully it'll work soon. But I just got an email from Ubisoft saying I'm one of the 5,000 to get a token to play the EndWar Demo!

For those of you that had a Charlieoscardelta and migrated over but still only have 99 points go to www.callofduty.com/points and relink your accounts. You should then be able to add the VIP badge to your avatar and the word on the street is you should get your Beta code within 3 days otherwise an e-mail to COD.com is in order.

I just had a VERY long argument with both costumer service AND my local store. They both said that I was never gaurenteed a beta code even though I preordered the game!!!!! I even brought in a printed screenshot of the advertising on gamestops site, and they were still adament about the beta keys. The official position now is that you must be chosen for the beta even if you preordered the game! This is total BS and it is false advertising. If any lawyers are reading this, is this illeagel, and can I sue?? (I probably wont anyway, I am just wondering)
