The image is disturbing enough with Mike Myers head, with Peter it's just plain creepy.
ryan @ Oct 20th 2008 5:26PM
oh, that's cheeky!
sifer2400 @ Oct 20th 2008 5:50PM
is there any major spoilers or relevant ones? im asking since it wasnt mentioned
Richard Mitchell @ Oct 20th 2008 6:20PM
Nope. No spoilers.
NukeAssault @ Oct 20th 2008 6:03PM
Mmm, Fable... Picking that up along with Dead Space tomorrow and possibly Silent Hill, Midnight Club and SOCOM. Anyone else hate Tuesdays now?
skfireboy @ Oct 20th 2008 6:28PM
I love the podcast, but HATE RPG's and yet I listened to the whole thing and enjoyed what everyone had to say. I must say that the level of coverage that games get by Dustin, Richard, Alexander and Xav is excellent, even if it's not a game you would play. Still made me laugh, especially the "No STD in the game" part, laughed my but off. Keep it up guys.
brainchild187 @ Oct 20th 2008 7:36PM
Hey Richard, in the game can you buy individual things for your house to decorate it however you want or was it like Fable 1 where you could only do the "house upgrade" thing?
Richard Mitchell @ Oct 20th 2008 8:00PM
There are furniture stores. I've never done it, but there is a "redecorate mode" on all the houses you own, so I think you have more control than in Fable 1.
joeybeast @ Oct 20th 2008 7:47PM
I wanna a beagle, and I'll call him bagel.
Chroma @ Oct 20th 2008 9:02PM
General LOL @ Dustin. Always with the Haloz and GOW. I, for one, couldn't care less about GOW2. I have GOW 1 and never play it anymore, just not my thing. I'm all about Fable 2 for about the next 2-4 weeks, or till Mirrors Edge.
Halwende @ Oct 20th 2008 9:28PM
Great show, just wets the ol' appetite for this game even more
"...so have you gotten an STD yet?"
"not in the game, no"
"...."
LOL

who else is skipping fable 2 for now and getting fallout 3 instead? i know i am.
Mikey @ Oct 21st 2008 12:40AM
Richard, does your dog get hurt while he's helping you fight, or is he immune to everything? If he does get hurt, do you have to heal him with potions?
Xav de Matos @ Oct 21st 2008 5:03AM
I'm not Richard but after playing the game for a week myself I can tell you that your dog does get hurt. He doesn't die but if he's hurt he isn't as quick when following you and doesn't point out as many treasures as he ordinarily would. The same if he is scared or mad for being scolded.
You can cure him with potions if hurt physically or being nice and playing with him if he's hurt emotionally.
Mikey @ Oct 21st 2008 10:35AM
Thank you Xav.
Boomh4u3r @ Oct 21st 2008 1:37AM
Great show guys!
Boff @ Oct 21st 2008 6:39AM
How come you lot have been playing it for a couple of weeks? Has it released in the US already?? Or did Peter personally deliver a few special copies to Fanboy towers???
3 days to go for the PAL release...
emirabal @ Oct 21st 2008 11:09AM
Great show, i have to say i enjoyed it a lot and my copy should be there when i get home, but i am a little upset that it was all fable 2, what happened to the regular show, this should have been a special episode IMO, i know i know, more work for you guys, but i love the show.
Keep it up Guys.
grigdog @ Oct 21st 2008 12:40PM
Great show, keep 'em comin'. Makes me want to take the rest of the week off of work to play Fable II. Stupid adult responsibility. I think the solid review of just one game was a nice way to add variety to the podcast. Oh and I really want to get Age of Booty too. Too many games... not enough time and money...
Larry @ Oct 21st 2008 1:35PM
Great episode guys. I am listening at work with my copy on my desk and I can't wait to get home and play.

ATTN XBOX360FANBOY BLOGGER DUDE:
You should make a Fable II subject about the online co-op. If you hit up the Fable II forum, there's a petition signing and numerous ammounts of threads about the default henchmen thing. Maybe if you make a blog on it, Lionhead will enable for us to take our pre generated chars into our friends world.

How much gold does Alexander have in Pub Games?
What did everyone play that yield them the most money in a short time?
hppymnky @ Oct 23rd 2008 5:20PM
The trick for setting the clock back does yield obscene amounts of gold for your rent in the retail edition. You'll need to disconnect from Xbox Live 1st, either change your settings or disconnect the cable, change the clock back to 2005, load fable 2 and save, connect to live (which sets your clock automatically) and load fable 2. With enough properties and rent you'll easily earn millions as well as purity/corruption points depending on your discounts/markups.
Letty @ Oct 23rd 2008 11:08PM
Great listening to this guys, keep up the good work.
Getting Fable 2 for sure, for a remedy for the long Final Fantasy wait.
crossax @ Oct 25th 2008 10:46AM
I am liking the Fable II.
