Video: Sacred 2, CGI and an old dude

Here's some CGI trailer goodness, brought to you by developer Ascaron and their upcoming action role playing fantasy Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. Embedded above is the game's introductory video which is 100% CGI and 100% back story informative. There's also skeleton warrior mutilation, a giant rock monster, a metal dog-looking character that shoots laser from its arm and a chick that rides a giant tiger. Rawr?

I hope this title succeeds in all the places that Two Worlds failed...

I haven't played a decent action-rpg/dungeon-crawler since Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Did anyone else get annoyed by that opening narrator's voice?

Besides that though, i really hope this game lives up to expectations so we can get a good dungeon crawler

Yea, it sounded like the guy who does the voiceover for the Soul Caliber games.. not some old blind guy.

As far as the CGI went, did everything look a little... new to you? It just looked very basic, and like everyone, including the skeletons, just took a shower or something and spent 9 years in a beauty salon...not in battle.

Other than that though, I actually did get excited. This game could definately be up my alley :).

Not a slight against the game (hadn't even heard of it), but that was one of the absolute worst voiceover readings I've ever heard. I can just picture some stupid video producer sitting over the shoulder of the recording engineer blabbing into the talkback mic saying "ok, but let's do it one more time, but faster and with less feeling".
