Worms, UMK3, Feeding Frenzy now on XBLA Hits page [update]

Update: Yup. No new game on XBLA this week. These new Arcade Hits are all we get.

Microsoft has yet to make any official announcements, but it looks like some new Xbox Live Arcade Hits are headed to our favorite download service. Three new titles have appeared on the official Xbox.com Arcade Hits page: Feeding Frenzy, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and Worms. All of them are listed at a new price of 400 Microsoft Points ($5), half of their original 800 Point price. We checked Xbox Live Marketplace and all three titles are still listed at their original price, so right now all we're really waiting for is an announcement from Microsoft. Given that Wednesday is the day that Xbox Live Arcade announcements are made, we wouldn't be suprirsed if these new discounts are announced today or tomorrow. We'll update this post when we have new information.

After all, Worms + Friends = Party.

Was UMK3 400 points at some point or another? I have it and I don't think I would have ever spent 800 on it.

Wednesdays aren't the days Arcade announcements are made, it's Mondays. Wednesdays are when they are released. Shouldn't you know that by now? :)

I wouldn't of spent 200 on it(MK3).. I prefered MK2 by a long shot..
tried feeding frenzy 2.. seemed decent, didn't buy it..

I've always been interested in UMK3, but I doubt I'd ever play it. I hope more games get added to this soon...

TBH, worms should have been that price to start off. There's not really much content in the game.

It's still amazing, though.

I'd probably have gotten Worms already, but I still haven't settled into Worms+Pad, yet..
Any other game, I don't mind Pad / Mouse+Keys, but..Worms.. Seems much much harder with a Pad..

UMK3, though. Might give that a go.

I'll pick up Worms for 5 bucks. I'm horrible at it, but hey, it's 5 bucks.

Cool, looks like I'm finally getting on the Worms wagon, and I certainly enjoyed playing Feeding Frenzy. It's simple fun, but that's what XBLA games are all about, right?

Plenty of people still play Worms on XBLA. I don't know why Team17 can't release a few new maps.

I have all three of those... and only paid full price for 1. I got a code for UMK3 off ebay for 3 bucks, and got the arcade disc that has feeding frenzy on it for free because a buddy of mine didint want it. I accidentally bough worms tho when i went to just get the demo, o well it was fun.
