Seattle Sounders to host an Xbox fashion show

If you live in or around the Seattle area, then you may want to make your way down to Qwest Field and the WaMu Theater on December 4th for the Seattle Sounders FC fashion show. You know, the same Seattle Sounders FC soccer team that is sponsored by Microsoft and Xbox 360.
The fashion show will be hosted by the team's minority owner Drew Carey where they'll debut the Founders' Xbox 360 branded jerseys. Not only will the jerseys be on display, but other Founders merchandise will pranced down the catwalk, which we can only guess will be plastered with Xbox 360 logos. Other "A-list" celebs (maybe Major Nelson?) will be in attendance, drinks and light appetizers will be served and all money raised (including the $65 per ticket charge) will benefit the Children's Research Institute and the Quest for a Cure Guild. So, if you're in Seattle on December 4th, go register and go buy some

Haha. Yeah as much as I love soccer and want it to succeed, It has about as much of a chance of surviving as your Xbox does avoiding the RRoD.

I dunno - I went to a Brazil vs Canada game in Seattle earlier this year. While the stadium was far from full, there was a substantial amount of people there.

Soccer does succeed, just not in America, where it's all baseball, basketball and American Football (I believe) those sports are harly played here in Europe...

As if I'm gonna pay $65 for the chance to buy a $75 jersey before anyone else.

I'll pick up a jersey later, not in any rush though.
