NXE trailer shows off Primetime [update]
Microsoft has released a trailer for the New Xbox Experience, showing off the new interface and some of its features (all set to a zippy soundtrack, of course). For anyone that's been following the NXE though, it's mostly old hat. That is except for the brief glimpse of Primetime, the nifty live gameshow concept that was originally supposed to launch with the NXE but was then unfortunately delayed until early 2009. Other than that, the video pretty much screams, "Hey look! We have Avatars! We're approachable too!" We'll just have to wait and see if the message lands with the casual audience Microsoft hopes to woo.
The NXE, incidentally, lands next Wednesday.

Is it me or, hasn't this been out since they first announced the NXE? They released it on Xbox Live Marketplace, except it had a guy talking over it going "Imagine your favourite entertainment experiences, delevered to your Xbox 360..."?
If they've rereleased it I'm surprised they haven't updated it to include the changes since they first made it... i.e. colour :P

This isn't a new trailer. This trailer's been out for months. The people at gametrailers are pretty slow and stupid.

yeah ive deff downloaded this video the day after they announced the NXE from the marketplace

The music is a fucking joke.

All these NXE trailers showing off primetime, photosharing, netflix HD streaming, avatars, etc.. suprisingly enough peeked my families interest enough to buy a 360 (mother and brother anyways).
I think it's pretty cool what microsoft is doing for the community. All i did with the original xbox was play what seemed to be hardcore games. Now at college i can play Uno with the family, webcam without a computer, voice chat without a phone.. photosharing and all the features NXE carries.
I know all the features have been available in some way before, as in we have telephones for how many years now? I just think it's cool to see everything coming together.
While i sold my PS3 for college and my Wii gets little use, i believe those systems are also doing the same thing, just to a lesser extent. So props to them. But my love and support goes to the micro.

News laundering at its best. Then again, someday most of these features will make it in, even if whether I use them or not is another story altogether.

definitely not worth a post since this is very old...

If this trailer is to be believed, we are all Abercrombie and Fitch douches, have impromptu dance parties in our home, and fall over laughing at anything...
...and own itty-bitty HD TVs. I find that particularly offensive.

I totally just came in my pants.
Oh and by the way, the video didn't load for me.

This trailer has been on marketplace since E3

It's wierd that X3F editors didn't catch that this is really old (thus, why there is still Primetime footage in there)...
Sam @ Nov 14th 2008 4:33PM
this is old...i remember seeing this commercial either online or on TV months ago. That's why its not updated.
