Finally, Zapper heads to Xbox Originals

We know, we know. It's kind of hard to keep reading this when you know that Zapper is headed to Xbox Originals. Stay with us though, because the game isn't actually available yet, so you can't run off to download it anyway. No, the game won't actually be available on the service until November 17, at which point we imagine all of the world's social interaction and commerce will cease -- apart from the massive influx of MS Point purchases -- throwing the global economy into a tailspin. Deliveries will stop, utilities will shut down, but no one will care. We'll all be mesmerized by the awesomeness that is Zapper, and we will play until the electricity fails. As Zapper constantly prods the pleasure nodes in our brains, we will slowly, blissfully succumb to starvation.

Either that or Zapper's release will slip by completely unnoticed, one of the two.

I bought this mess for $3 a few months ago,thought it was gonna be at least a mario clone but, no it was a frogger clone they make those? who knew

With Frogger selling so ridiculously well on XBLA, I guess they thought this made sense?

I was kind of hoping this program would be more for classics and painfully ignored titles... guess it's for whatever in the world they think of.

i cant wait till this comes out. im a huge fan of this game, followed it throughout the development stages and i have Zapper sponsored products, gonna buy this even though i have like 3 copies of the original one.

please, for the love of god, someone realize that im being sarcastic. if someone believed that, then you, my good sir/ma'am are gullible.

of course man. i even have the collectors edition. came with a "making of" dvd with special features. they even show how they got the frogger game and used "copynpasta" to make their game. its so epic! even found the hidden easter eggs in the game. this game is sooo much better than halo 3 or gears of war 2.

With all the great Xbox titles they go for Zapper? I can't believe they haven't released more of the big AAA titles that were available for the system. I still think Panzer Dragoon Orta should be released on Xbox Originals.

I've avoided Xbox Originals until now.

I think the entire team at Redmond can consider an achievement unlocked for finally getting this gem as an original.

Great. Xbox Live is going to come to a halt when this goes up as everyone will all rush to download it as soon as possible. It'll be like Christmas all over again.

Zapper: One Wicked Cricket? I'm probably going to be the only one that says they remember this. A friend of mine got it with his PS2 for Xmas back in 02. I felt bad for him after seeing how bad the game was. I got Kingdom Hearts :P. I just realized no one's parents here knows what games are good
