A Kingdom for Keflings finds the XBLM

Newly available for purchase off the Xbox Live Marketplace is A Kingdom for Keflings, a brand new Xbox Live Arcade game from the folks over at Ninja Bee.

At 800 Microsoft points, A Kingdom of Keflings is a city building sim where you play a giant who takes mini Keflings and ~~demands~~ firmly suggests what they should do to improve the cityscape. Best part, A Kingdom for Keflings is the first game to incorporate your new NXE Avatar. Bossing lil' Keflings around just couldn't be any more enjoyable.

I don't think local multiplayer would be possible, but I'll try to get a firm answer on this.

I almost instantly picked up one of the little guys and kicked him around. This somehow earned me and achievement for training him. At least it would have done if bought the game.

Things were working smoothly earlier today but I just now tried to download this game and the marketplace isn't working well at all. Clearly things are overloaded right now.

The game is totally awesome :)

However, i've got a problem with my gamercard (from mygamercard.net) - it doesn't display the picture/cover/whatever of this game. It kind of annoys me because my gamercard looks a bit lame with a black rectangle or just a blank space (depends on a card theme) on it.

So am I the only one having this issue, or is it something common?

Lots of prolblems with this stuff now, it doesn't have a picture through marketplace, either.

I figure lots of stuff will be somewhat borked for the next few days.

And this is MS, yaknow. If things worked completely, it would be an amazement beyond amazement.

Speaking of that - how fun to freeze while viewing friends! Yay.

Played the demo a while back, pretty fun and very relaxing with no time limits or enemies crashing the gates. I could see picking this up in the future.

I wish the demo was a bit longer because I really enjoyed it. Don't have the extra money to get it, but it's definitely going to be on my list.

Ninja Bee has done such a great job at identifying genres that are under-represented on XBLA and capitalizing on that. It's nice to see something that's not so action based.

Umm, yeah. This game is totally awesome! I just got done playing the demo 3 times(too short but fun) and I have to say this is a MUST BUY. It also got my girlfriend interested... So this game could help her become a gamerchick... Hopefully cause I'm tired of her bitc...... Anyway yeah get the game. I am getting it tomorrow!

@Boomh4u3r - You have to get a witches hut first and then mine the crystals.

I'm loving this game, but some of the tools are hidden underneath stuff and it's a bitch to find them without a guide. Right now I've finished the main campaign so I'm just mining until I get enough supplies to redo the whole city.
