Lionhead's not so 'big' Fable II update

Last week, Lionhead revealed that a BIG Fable II announcement would be coming this week. Well, their plans didn't work out as expected and the BIG announcement has been delayed until next Monday, November 24th. Reason being that Microsoft decided this week wouldn't be the best time to announce BIG Fable II news, probably due to the whole New Xbox Experience release n' such.

There you have it, kids, a BIG Fable II announcement will be headed our way next Monday. We plomise!

That would be funny, but I think that would make it appropriate to announce this week. Although, maybe there is something to announce about the avatars too next week?

Yes please, coop was such a dissappointment that I'd felt better off if it wasn't offered to begin with.

Plus hopefully an expansion to continue off after the end-game would be nice.

As much as I want a new theme for my dashboard (already; not impressed with the ones that come with), and as nice as this is, it's not 240MSP nice.

Call me crazy, but I just have this aversion to spending money on desktop wallpaper.

I concur. I am glad I opted to buy Fallout over Fable. Hopefully by the time I get it at Christmas time patched will have come out or I shall return it for something worthwhile.

Lionhead should just keep their damn mouth shut until something happens. Every single promise they make or thing they talk about revealing never ends up happening. They're the game company that cried wolf.

Am I the ONLY one who despises Avatars and the NXE? Not just some of it, but ALL OF IT. If I could uninstall the update I would.
I know I'm going to be low ranked, but every-one's entitled to an opinion.

I don't mind it, after getting a PS3 I felt like the old Xbox dashboard was getting a little rough on the eyes.

I dont think you'll get down voted for that, its not as if everyone just loves the avatars, most just dont care.

Microsoft is walking a fine line, trying to capture what the wii has going on is going to be an obsession for some executives that only see numbers. Expect more childish shit... so long as they keep teh haloz and gears rolling out I could care less.

Whats not to like about it? Even if you don't use the features, it runs faster while having no lag like the old dashboard and is easier to get around in.

I think most people that don't care about avatars just ... don't care. Its not like the old blade setup was a superior menu system, cuz it wasn't.
