GTAIV 'Lost and Damned' gets screenshoted

Hot on the heels of their announcement of Grand Theft Auto IV The Lost and Damned (the first hunk of episodic DLC), Rockstar has released four high-res screenshots for your viewing pleasure. You can view the screens in the nifty gallery below and analyze every last detail. You may notice that biker dudes are a running theme in the screenshots and it's for good reason. The DLC's main character Johnny Klebitz is part of a Liberty City biker gang.
We're also informed that The Lost and Damned content will feature "new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City," along with new multiplayer modes, weapons, vehicles and music. Really, how can you go wrong?

Awesome. Looks like you will be running with a crew.
anthonyjh @ Nov 22nd 2008 5:34AM
Meh, as a PS gamer I was pretty bummed when I heard about the exclusive DLC. But 4 came out and it was a major disappointment for me. Regardless, I hope it's good.

same, i thought it would be a new island or something to make the game more fun and wacky like gta san andres
not something i'm gonna get...
Cal @ Nov 22nd 2008 12:27PM
If you want something that plays similar to GTA: San Andreas then there's always Saints Row 1 and 2, which, for me at least, have managed to take over as the best games in this genre
Teabag @ Nov 22nd 2008 6:07AM
I like Johnny boy already. Seems like a tough guy...less emotional than Niko was.
Interesting.

Is it just me or does the GTA logo with "The Lost And The Damned" look awfully photoshopped ?
Dustin Burg @ Nov 22nd 2008 9:41AM
Agreed.
Scott @ Nov 22nd 2008 11:34AM
Well it is real, I got an email myself from Rockstar because I am in that Social Club, also there are the screenshots, release date, info, and all that stuff. But I do agree with you, it looks like it could have been fake if it wasn't real (sounds kind of dumb)

Cool! Sons of the Anarchy roll into town.
Mister Servo @ Nov 22nd 2008 5:11PM
I was thinking Sons of Anarchy too. I wonder if that inspired them at all? That'd be completely awesome if Ron Perlman voiced one of the characters.
philmcphail @ Nov 22nd 2008 8:32PM
It'd be completely awesome if Ron Perlman voiced ALL of the characters.

ZOMBIE CITY DLC yeah turn the city into a zombie city and you have to survive....
XBOX - - GR8REVIL @ Nov 28th 2008 12:38AM
Oh my god yes!!! that would be simply amazing. Open world zombie madness!! Left 4 dead has got me hooked like heroine. I need to eat zombie flesh, muhahaha!!
myabsolution @ Nov 22nd 2008 12:42PM
I wont be getting the DLC. A little too late to come to the table.
Just sold my game on ebay, overall I was disappointed in GTA4. It felt like a stripped down version of GTA3, but with HD graphics.... and no planes?! bah
Bigphill @ Nov 22nd 2008 12:55PM
GTA IV is by far one of the best games of the year. Just the amount of what can be done in the game, without even finishing the game is worth the $60. They did everything right, and now they are making the game worth even more with the dlc....I suppose Xbox Fanboys do nothing but complain. Not to say that people's opinions are not valid, but to outright diss this game is crazy.
myabsolution @ Nov 22nd 2008 1:35PM
Sorry, but fun factor is how I rate games.
Just because the graphics got improved in GTA4, doesn't make it better.
They removed just about everything from previous games that people enjoyed spending hours doing. All planes, jetpack, weapons (yeah gta4 has nothing), tanks.
Not to mention the missions weren't anything special that we havent already done before.
ryan @ Nov 22nd 2008 2:33PM
If you don't compare it to previous games, it could still be considered a fun time right?
Mitch Hedberg @ Nov 22nd 2008 6:55PM
@Ryan: I saw a commercial on late night TV, it said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn’t know what the hell they were.
anthonyjh @ Nov 22nd 2008 7:22PM
Other than the bank job, nothing in GTA4 stood out. Yes, the story was really good and the missions played into that. But that doesn't make the game fun.
Danny F. @ Nov 22nd 2008 2:46PM
Looks interesting, though I kinda wished it was a new area or more endgame content for Niko really. Niko is a more rememberable character then the previous GTA main stars.
CmpsdNoMore @ Nov 22nd 2008 9:34PM
I agree that playing through the story of GTA4 wasn't as fun as some of the games that have come out recently (past year).
I think I had a better time playing the game when I was bored, going slow while trying to find the pigeons and jumps. Going through the missions as fast as possible just got repetitive and boring. Going slow and exploring is what really captivated me.
When you're doing something where you just want some background noise, it's kind of fun to go stand on a sidewalk or street corner (like at star junction), listen and watch as people go by and the shadows change.
Kinetix @ Nov 23rd 2008 9:31AM
Surely it should be "screenshotted"
Michael @ Nov 25th 2008 5:42PM
Awesome!!
Big Willie @ Feb 17th 2009 7:44PM
Meh! Saints Row 2 is waaaaay better!
