"England" should read United Kingdom as it is also available in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
MrMuggs @ Nov 25th 2008 12:01PM
I was about to post, "Now the UK guys can stop complaining!!" And then I saw this reply and the one after it...
I don't get it. I don't go to UK based websites and bitch about how they're UK centric and don't think about the US enough. I'm waiting for these guys to start complaining about how we don't use the Queen's English...colour versus colour.
Just get over it. Stop worrying about this stuff.
Jez @ Nov 25th 2008 12:08PM
I am not complaining about the lack of concern for UK visitors I am complaining that just because it's the biggest of the four countries England is seen as just another name for the UK. I'm not English damnit!
I do take your point though that moaning about it can become tiresome but I assure you I really likely never care how you spell colour
Brian @ Nov 25th 2008 12:39PM
It has been available in the UK since it first came out.
Cal @ Nov 25th 2008 12:47PM
Brian, that's not the point.
Scots, Welshmen and Northern Irishmen tend not to like being called English or having their respective country/state (whatever they technically are) called England.
Aero @ Nov 25th 2008 12:53PM
Mr Muggs, this is similar to how it would be if they didn't list Canada and just had United States listed.
Boff @ Nov 26th 2008 7:51AM
It would be akin to me saying: "California! That's in New York right?"
No, they are 2 completely separate states that make up part of the US.
England is one of 4 countries that make up the UK. And anyone who's not English despises being called English, believe me (Proud Welshman). Same goes for UK = England.
ThomasShaped @ Nov 25th 2008 11:54AM
UK plz.
Scotland has it too..
Lee @ Nov 25th 2008 12:20PM

Gav @ Nov 25th 2008 12:22PM
It's a bit like saying California instead of the US seeing as California is the only important part of America.
travis @ Nov 25th 2008 2:06PM
oklahoma is the most important state.
daxter360 @ Nov 25th 2008 12:47PM
UK not england please, we are a united country of different peoples or are you just trying to be ignorant?
ardsgawa82 @ Nov 25th 2008 1:23PM
As has been previously said, the UK is Northern Ireland (the best), England, Wales and Scotland. grouping us all as "England" is offensive to all of us, probably the english too!
Chad @ Nov 25th 2008 1:44PM
they get the point, every single comment doesn't need to be about the geographical error.
Gav @ Nov 25th 2008 1:52PM
no they don't as they ain't changed it yet!
daxter360 @ Nov 25th 2008 1:58PM
I think it should untile the site changes it to be a proper journalistic article with accurate information. Calling the UK England is quite a big mistake!
Gav @ Nov 25th 2008 2:29PM
Ok, to be far the original press release mentions England so the reporting is accurate so I've emailed Microsoft using the link on the page and I suggest everyone else does the same.
This might seem petty but it not only inaccurate it's shoddy journalism from two organisations that should now the difference.
bo0m! @ Nov 25th 2008 2:55PM
Cool. I can't wait to see more of these XNA games :D but sadly I'll probably never be able to download them as south africa is still waiting for xbox live :'(
brandonshark @ Nov 27th 2008 4:22AM

Robzy @ Nov 25th 2008 4:46PM
It's SCOTLAND aswell (or United Kingdom). Not just England. Calling the UK England is just ignorant!!!!
I demand it be changed!
Parsnipzilla @ Nov 25th 2008 6:07PM
Finally, New Zealand gets in on the fun!
Sagar @ Nov 25th 2008 9:44PM
I'm American, and I get bugged when people get mad about petty spellling differences, but I'll join in on the fun and say that it's the UK, not England.
YanniG@yannig.net @ Nov 26th 2008 10:51AM
Shame to you Micro$oft, you sell to the Greek people the xbox 360 consoles in higher prices than the rest of the world, but you don't offer us a server for entering the xbox live.SHAME ON YOU...
John Ericson @ Jan 24th 2009 6:27PM
What do they mean with Nordic Regions?
