Marcus Fenix plastered all over NYC

If you're in or around the New York City area, we highly recommend going to visit one or all three hand painted building murals featuring "Mr. Badass" himself, Marcus Fenix.

Three different Gears of War 2 murals have recently been hand painted on different buildings across NYC (locations after the jump) and feature Marcus and a few Locusts for aesthetic appeal. The murals will only be up through the end up the month, so hail a cab and go visit a 46 foot tall Marcus.

The building art and game both can't hold a candle to Gears of War 2.

R2 does a better job with giant murals painted on buildings.

G2 does a better job at actually being a good game.

I'll take that tradeoff any day.

Except that the R2 ad is NOT a handpainted mural (otherwise you'd have some mad workers with zero light coming in through their windows). There are a bunch of tiny holes in the R2 ad that allows for light and is the reason why it's hard to see. For me, the WOW-factor of the Gears mural is that it's a 5-story painting! (Who's the artist? Paul Bunyan? *instantrimshot.com*)
