Downloading now!
Also, the Far Cry 2 Fortunes pack is now available for 800 points as well. 43 MB.
Sent a tip in, but figured that might not get posted right away.

This is exciting news... i'm more excited about this than i am about the new 'xbox experience' downloading soon as!!!!!!!!!

Beware, EA's last 2 RTS games suffered big from their lack of server bandwidth---imaging buying this game and then going online to play only to have the servers working some of the time.
To add insult to injury, EA never acknowledged the problems or lifted a finger to fix them. Go to the xbox.com forums for the game Kane's Wrath (EA's most recent RTS) to see the posts regarding this.
I'm a huge RTS fan, but I won't be playing this game for those reasons.

Sweet. this gave me the chance to test out the spiffy new xbox.com download option.
I used to call my wife and ask her to DL any new demos I'd hear about so I could play them when I got home and she'd always balk at having to search around for exactly what I was looking for... Now I just queued it up, called her and told her to just turn the box on, wait a tick and turn it off again... My demo is happily downloading in the background.
Got to love the NXE.

Really? Hmm... I need to try this.
Clark Parker @ Nov 28th 2008 1:42PM
Yeah. I'm impressed. Even my wife is happy. Calling it painless.
Don't get me wrong, she is a real peach about this sort of thing but this is just way easier for both of us. I always hear about the new demos and such while on the internet anyway and I'm only ever really on the internet while at work, so this works out great for all involved. Plus, my daughter has dance class tonight, so when I get home, there will be nobody around and I can just jump right into the game, without DLing it myself and wasting however long that monster sized demo would have taken.
I already said this but damn... I am really digging this NXE.

I'm going to queue this right now !!!
Helloimbob @ Nov 28th 2008 12:58PM
I'd queue it up but it tells me I don't have permission to... wtf

Wasn't this up yesterday? I just got a 360 and downloaded a ton of demos yesterday, including this.
wargamer17 @ Nov 28th 2008 1:25PM
Yes, it was up yesterday. Since it was Thanksgiving in the the US, i'm guessing it wasn't going to be posted yesterday.
spyker @ Nov 28th 2008 1:30PM
Ahh, good point.
