Atari unleashes Tekken 6 and Riddick screens

As part of today's press conference, Atari unloaded a bunch of fresh screenshots for next year's upcoming Tekken 6 and Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. You can view the Tekken and Riddick screens below, but be warned about those Riddick screens. If you thought Gears of War was lacking color, then keep clear of Riddick's drab and dull "color" palette. Actually, it isn't so much a color palette as it is a black to white gradient.

I'm suprised Heihachi isn't dead yet. I used to be a big Tekken fan, but since it's not for Xbox I'm not interested anymore :( oh well, the series has become repetitive IMO.
There's always SFIV!

Atari..?? jeez..
Can't Namco or Starbreeze do any better for a publisher.. Even EA rate higher for me
My bet that Tekken has next to no character balancing (based on Tekken 3 or the PSP Tekken.. & Soul Calibur feeling the superior game to SCIV).. Namco have been really missing the mark for me.. I feel a need to miss on Tekken this time. could be partly it's Japanese developers in general..

I can't waait either. I'm glad to see a significant improvement over the original in terms of graphics. Also, the multiplayer and added levels will be awesome.

Glad to see Riddick is still alive, I was half expecting it to get cancelled since we haven't seen anything of it since it was announced. I loved the first game, I played through both Xbox and PC version more than once.

I am very excited for this Riddick as well. I loved Butcher Bay and this looks like a definite upgrade!!

Kinda dissapointed with how Riddick looks so far.. doesn't look all that impressive. It's still early though, hopefully they'll add some detail to the textures n stuff.

I love The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay but there is no Backward compatibility yet so i can play it on the 360.

whoa wait atari is putting out Tekken6 and not Namco!? is this just for the console version maybe or did they obtain the rights to the series all together? when did this happen I must of not been paying attention.... or maybe its a misprint.

Both games look great. Can't wait for Tekken to come out.
Anyone have any good recommendations for arcade pads that work on the 360? Been wondering if there were any good ones out there.

Atari is publishing Tekken 6 in Europe. Since it was Atari who sent this latest batch of shots out to the press, they are getting credit as the source for the pictures.
North American publishing for the game will be handled by NamcoBandai.
