Banjo-Kazooie searches for Jiggys on the XBLA

Today, Rare's classic Banjo-Kazooie is (finally) available for purchase off the Xbox Live Arcade and brings with it a measurable amount of bear and bird dander. For 1200 Microsoft points, you'll be treated to the entire N64 Banjo-Kazooie experience, complete with the once missing Stop N Swap feature as you attempt to take down that mole wearing witch Gruntilda. A charming bear with a bird in his backpack, seriously, what's not to love?

What's not to love?
How's about the muddy textures? The too-spread-out hub world? The grind of a collectathon?
Only joking, I've been really enjoying this for the last few weeks (got it early as a preorder bonus for Nuts'n'Bolts). Certainly one of the best platformers of it's generation.

I actually am finding I don't like it as much as I remember, but it's still a fun game. That said, I don't think this should be 1,200 points.
It did make me realize that I'm happy with the new direction they took Nuts and Bolts in, though. I'd just not be interested in a third game like this.

nuts and bolts is pure awesomeness. this is pretty cool since I got it for free. Looks better than I thought too.

So does "Stop N Swap" just unlock parts for Nuts & Bolts?
Aero @ Dec 3rd 2008 3:22PM
Yes, and the parts are just accessories.

I just got it. I love it. I missed it during the N64 days, so this is great. I miss my platformers, so this is a nice break from the usual shoot everything game.
