X3F TV -- Prince of Persia: Platform Stringing
Movement in Prince of Persia has a particular flow. As players progress through the game it becomes easier to use all of the Prince's acrobatic moves to string together navigation as one fluid movement. There isn't much of rush to get from place-to-place but the game includes a few achievements that internally clocks movement time, so learning how to quickly navigate sections with simple button presses and minimal interruptions will be important to some players. Check out our video of some platform stringing to see what you have in store if you decide to pick up Ubisoft's Prince of Persia.

That looks sweeeeeet but if the learning curve on this isn't just right i could see myself along with others getting frustrated with multiple trips to jagged rock junction
I'll patiently be waiting for the demo on this one...

According to one review I read their only gripe was the difficulty...there really wasn't any. When you are about to fall your companion swoops in to save, basically you can't die.
And if you noticed in one particular part in the video the color is removed and everything is in black & white, this notifies you of impending danger I believe.
My point is, don't let difficulty keep you from enjoying this game, I know I won't, it looks incredible.

the purpose of the black and white is to let you know when to use Elika to have her throw you further than you're able to jump. So yes pretty much you can't die

Wow...this is beautiful. That jumping animation was absolutely stunning.
Can't wait to pick this up soon!

This umm...is this Prince of Persia now? I remember the first Prince of Persia was about trying to get through a level by solving 'puzzles' so to speak. Timed jumps, opening the right doors...as well as some exciting fights.
Now Prince of Persia is basically just jumping from point to point and pressing the right button and moving in the right direction to get there.
Bleh.
It's a good thing if you cannot die, because I would hate to have to run through the same area 15 times just to figure out how to get through it.

not sure what the point of that was...complaining but happy you can't die and try the same thing over and over again like the original?
