Acti offering free DLC with World Tour bundle

From now through December 31st, Activision is bribing enticing those in the market for a musical game this holiday by offering up free downloadable content with purchase of Guitar Hero World Tour.
According to the official Guitar Hero website, those who purchase the World Tour bundle by December's end will be treated to five downloadable tracks. Exactly which tracks, we aren't sure. The promotion isn't yet live, but if you already own or are purchasing the World Tour bundle, keep this page bookmarked for future promo details. Can't complain about free music, right?

Sure you can. Still haven't even downloaded the RB2 free tracks, or even asked for my code.

...which, no doubt they will include the next time Acti releases DLC stats for GHWT to pad the numbers.

5 free songs are 5 free songs, so... I guess hooray?

This reminds me.... I still haven't downloaded those free RB2 songs.

I won't be surprised if there's more string attached to it.

Does this apply if I bought the Game + guitar bundle? I hope so.... I wonder what they'll use to track who bought what... and how to grant access to the DLC. I sold my copy of GH:WT on ebay but wanna keep the free DLC haha... so I might keep some sort of upc or something, I'll check when I go home

ah.. too late Acti.. I've chosen to go with Rock Band 2 once christmas is over & done with.. someone could buy it for me if I mention it, but I can't tell if the new guitars have been released in the UK. Play has them as preorder, but Game are selling some (no picture, so I'm unsure which it is).. weren't they wired for the first one?

Why only the guitar bundle? Spend $99 and get 5 free tracks but spend $189? That's not right...

Mr. Burg,
For the love of Jeebus, please, please, please, please, PLEASE don't shorten the names of companies or games that are only one word . It's completely unnecessary and looks stupid.
In an industry where most people think it's followers are childish, things like this don't help.

Technially, it's Activision Blizzard. Why not just start calling it "AB," since almost no one calls their main competitor Electronic Arts.

yay
