This Week on XBLA: Doritos' Dash of Destruction

If you recall, last Fall Doritos sponsored an Unlock Xbox competition where nacho cheese chip gamers submitted and voted on ideas for an Xbox Live Arcade game. After all was said and done, Doritos chose the dinosaur chomp 'em up game called Dash of Destruction to be developed into a full-fledged XBLA release.
Well, after about a year of development, Dash of Destruction is ready to hatch to the Arcade, because this Wednesday, December 17th it'll be available for download. Best part, it's free! So, even if the gameplay is sub-par or too cheezy (zing!), you can take comfort in knowing you didn't pay a darn thing.

Yeah, Yaris was pretty bad. But still, free is free. Can't really complain that you found a penny on the ground instead of a dollar.

That's ridiculous. Allow me to send you a rancid, salmonella infested chicken, which you proceed to eat. As you become violently ill, will you really not complain about the food poisoning because I gave the chicken to you for free?

I know right. Although I had voted for the monkey game instead of that dinosaur one. Oh well a free game is a free game afterall; as long as it's not a shitty as Yaris.

Looking at this game's achievements, it looks like a very easy 200! Easily the best part about free games.

WOW... I am pretty surprised by this post. No references to Yaris? Dustin for the sake of transparency what is your official relation to MS? The old Dustin would have made at least a 100 references to the abysmal game.

I do hope this is good, only because NinjaBee* has been probably the most consistently good developer for XBLA as far as quantity and quality. I'd hate to see their reputation hurt by this, even if it is a freebie promotion game for a snack food.
