Amazon Deal of the Day: Prince of Persia for $39.98
Sometimes, it's just hard not to love Amazon. The website has already helped us avoid the (sometimes deadly) hassle of holiday shopping. Nearly all our holiday gift purchases have been made online this year, which is great and in no way increases a blogger's natural predilection for agoraphobia. And now, today only, Amazon is offering Prince of Persia for a mere $39.98. That's $20 off the most "magical" game you'll play this year. Oh Amazon, you shouldn't have. We didn't give you anything. Oh, right, except the money.

is it worth it, or should i just rent it beat it and be done with it??

I bought it because it is $40. I went online and the repurchase price is higher than the initial purchase.
In other words, if you sell it after you beat it, you will either make money or break even.
That is why i bought it!

Thats a good point. However, if youre not looking to trade the game in (I never do), you may want to wait for it to go down to 20 bucks. If its anything like Bioshock or Mass Effect, itll be there pretty quickly.

I spent 60 on it, beat it in a day and a half (including collecting all the orbs), never want to play it again. It was beautiful and fun, just not interested in revisiting it. This is the prime example of a rental game.

Picked it up. 40 bucks is a steal. Its even cheaper than ebay.

Damn, I bought this last week for $56.99! Anyone know if Amazon offers price protection? I doubt it :\

Thanks for the heads up! I was debating getting this game for a while... The price drop was all I needed to justify the purchase :-)

I have a deal for you, too^^ Well, if you're the owner of a PAL or NTSC-J 360:
play-asia.com has Midnight Club L.A. for 14,90 US$ (I paid 13,90 € incl. shipping), only this week.
cheers!
