Video: Six minutes of Ninja Blade action, ninjas with blades included

A few days ago a video containing six minutes of Ninja Blade action found its way online. The footage was so hot we had to let it cool down for a few days until we ... okay, you know what. We can't lie. It just slipped by. But hey, Ninja Blade is about two of our favorite things and we thought we'd share.
Comments on the video call it Ninja Gaiden on steroids and while the action is intense it seems to include an awful lot of QTEz (Quick Time Events, the Z is in there to spice things up). Now, we don't have anything against QTEs but we'd rather actually play a game not play Simon with our controller while a movie is playing in the background. Maybe we're spoiled, who knows. One thing is certain, the ninja in the video totally runs down the side of a building and jacks a motorcycle in midair ... that's rad.

In combat it looks like the button presses are mostly used for finishers... Doesn't seem much different than pressing Y (or whatever it was) in NG2 to finish off a dying enemy. I'm not too worried about it yet, at least.

can FromSoftware be trusted ? did they take tenchu and run it into the ground at break neck speed ? hhhmm!
oh well, this game looks cool, I wait for the reviews of course, the main characters out fit looks uncool in my opinion, but at least that head mask things he wears looks like it would stop a bullet LOL

Agreed that mask looked stupid.. too much QTE.. band what's up with the weapon effects, wheres the crimson/ichor.. looks to me like a poor mans NG2

Tenchu sucks but Otogi was amazing. So, maybe they can be? Maaaaaaybe.

Tenchu sucks?! Not that I've played Tenchu Z but Fatal Shadows was amazing. (Not as good as WoH/RFD but that one can't be surpassed)

Doesn't look like something I would want to play...too heavy on QTEz. Jacking a bike in midair does look siiiiiic though

I don't mind the QTEz as long as they're well integrated with the gameplay.

Lol , NG2 was way better than this Jap GoW clone. And Ryu is so much more badass than this ninja with a pirate eyepatch guy.
