Braid to bend time on the PC in 2009

The Xbox Live Arcade golden child that has been racking up a few 2008 award honors, Braid, will be making its way to the PC early next year.
According to the official website, Braid will be releasing to the PC between February and March 2009. Interestingly enough, the PC version was supposed to debut this past October, but was pushed back due to the huge amount of holiday blockbuster titles. Also, talk of a Mac and a PS3 version is out there, but only if "Sony is interested in the game." Take comfort, fanboys, we already have our Braid.

Finally, a free version.

Must have missed the part where it said it was going to be free.
In fact seems odd he'd hold back the release due to the holiday rush if it was going to be free. Don't you think?

I believe you misunderstand what Blackfrican means by "free" ;)

Well, not much worry about it going to PS3 considering Sony has been pouring all of their money into advertising instead of getting more games and lowering their prices. But yay for PC users :)
PS - This game deserves to be paid for (in reference to Blackfrican), as it is a great little game and he deserves to be paid for his work.

I'm curious to see what the price will be. Johnathan blow claimed that it was $15 to ensure he would make his money back. I wonder if he will lower it since he has, or if he was just full of you-know-what.
If it is 15 I will lose all respect for the creator.

Actually, I'd be surprised if it were still $15. Capcom made Bionic Commando Rearmed $20 on PC, with justification that "PC downloadable gamers are generally more expensive". Think of all of the Pop Cap games that come out for $20 on PC
Also, does anyone actually know if he really did make a decent profit on the game?
So it's $15. That's still a pretty decent price for the game. That's approximately 2 movie tickets. It entertains you for longer than 2 movies, and you still get to keep it once you're done.
