Ninja Blade demo to land on Japanese XBLM soon
A picture is worth a thousand words but a demo could mean the difference in millions. From Software's upcoming ninja-blade-ing (not a real word) game, creatively named Ninja Blade, will see early life on the Japanese Xbox Live Marketplace in the form of a playable demo. Japanese gamers, and possibly others who have access to the Japanese Marketplace, will be treated to the demo on December 29.

SadisticHam @ Dec 28th 2008 6:43AM
First I've ever heard of a new controller and i was in a Game store yesterday, never saw one.
JCP @ Dec 27th 2008 6:10PM
Is regional marketing really that effective, will Japanese people really by this game mainly because they got the demo before the American market ?
why can't the demo just go worldwide and be available to all from day one ?
kentawilson @ Dec 27th 2008 7:46PM
Because that would be to much like right.
Serio @ Dec 27th 2008 10:36PM
Now you know the feeling when the US got full movies, and EU got trailers. The US still has a huge amount of demo's the EU will never get.
JCP @ Dec 27th 2008 11:33PM
really ? that just doesnt make sense! I assume you live in Europe Serio, did you hear about the redesigned controller with a better D-pad thats only for europe ?
Tony @ Dec 28th 2008 12:37PM
The "greatness" of that improved controller is definitely misunderstood lol.
I'd not be too jealous. It just has more input points and only games that are designed for it can take advantage of it.
imbecile pete @ Dec 28th 2008 12:46PM
@serio
i live in europe too but you can just make a silver US account

One of the reasons I bought a 360 was that I was getting sick of being treated like a second class consumer by Nintendo. Please don't start doing this a lot MS.
BobTheElephant @ Dec 27th 2008 10:35PM
not again...
Digital Limit @ Dec 27th 2008 11:24PM
You guys should report on CarneyVale Showtime, a Community Game that is actually quite good and incredible polished.
alexkapone @ Dec 27th 2008 11:31PM
I'm usually critical of those who post comments criticizing bloggers on their grammar & spelling, but that post was really hard to read. Sorry!
Digital Limit @ Dec 28th 2008 5:10AM
Probably because the company name is From Software.
CL34N3R @ Dec 28th 2008 11:03AM
I really hadn't paid much attention to this game until now, I didn't realize it was made by From. Otogi is one of my all time favorites, so I'm now pretty excited for this one. Might need to make a Japanese account.
CL34N3R @ Dec 28th 2008 11:14AM
Uggh, I just watched a gameplay trailer and it's full of quick time events. I LOATHE quick time events. How can a game be immersive when it keeps telling you to hit "B"? Ever since God of War devs think QTE's are just an easy way to pull off cool combat moves that everyone will love. Wake up devs, we hate that crap.
sanfranmale @ Dec 28th 2008 5:18PM
Absolutely agree CL34N3R ... I've put off buying maybe 20 games this year because they rely on QTE events... If I wanted to be treated like Pavlov's dog, I'd go visit the psych dept at university and sign up for experiments.
LegendaryRedass @ Dec 28th 2008 4:08PM
I liked this game a lot better when tecmo made it.
ScottishPrik @ Dec 28th 2008 7:08PM
This game has absolutely nothing to do with Ninja Gaiden but at the same time it has everything to do with Ninja Gaiden.
ScottishPrik @ Dec 29th 2008 6:12AM
The demo is up now
THA1icarus @ Dec 29th 2008 10:51AM

Jonathan @ Dec 29th 2008 3:08PM

Jonathan @ Dec 29th 2008 3:13PM

kentawilson @ Dec 29th 2008 3:47PM
