Rumor: Skate 2 demo releasing January 8th
According to a new Xbox.com listing for an upcoming Skate 2 Download & Win giveaway, a fresh Skate 2 game demo will be available for download off the Xbox Live Marketplace come Thursday, January 8th. Maybe earlier.
The Download & Win page explains that, in order to enter the giveaway, gamers must first register then "download the free Skate 2 demo between January 8 - 15." A statement that (thanks to our unnaturally high intellectual thought process) makes us believe that a Skate 2 demo will be downloadable via the XBLM on January 8th. Oh, and if the demo does release on the 8th, be sure to enter the Download & Win to score some nifty skate prizes.

oh man the last skate was hot, this one should be insane, (and hopefully not feel like a rehash), if they make a skate 3, I hope they do a new york style city, that would be a great change of pace, city wise.

This is great news. I loved Skate and played it for hours. Though I really want to try this one before I buy it.
The fact that its not all a new city and that you can get off your board and move stuff, seems both good and bad. So hopefully the demo shows some good content to make a decision about.

just picked up the original 3 days ago and pumped 15-20 hours into it... SO ADDICTING.
I agree w/ deck that getting off the board, grabbing vehicles and moving things could be awesome or remove a lot of the challenge.
As frustrating as it is to get knocked back by the curb 15 times or to have to strategically place tricks to reach higher elevations forces you to become more proficient w/ the controls.
Either way... hella excited to give it a go

Demo ALready out, i want them both aalthough i tried downloading and got to31% and froze their for 1hr i was like oh my god lol.
